All Ireland Football Final - An Classico

Hmmmm. Kerry ‘forgot’ to play the ball to their superstar…
And the fella beside him for 80mins was shit…

Definitely.

Clifford’s second touch was probably 17 or 18 minutes in when he ran out beyond the 45 just to get on the ball.

In the second half when Kerry were 3 up o Shea failed to control a relatively simple ball where If he did Clifford would have had a fairly simple run in on goal.

Don’t know if that’s true but I said after the semi that I was far happy Kerry had won. I wouldn’t have fancied Derry in the final.

Ok…maybe himself and the brother were having a fight or something considering the amount of time Paudie spent on the ball in the half forwards. Seems strange that he wouldnt pass to him.

It reminded me of times with Limerick and gillane. I guess they don’t want to over use him or something.

It would be his greatest achievement yet. Kickhams are well over the hill at this stage.

You could only really tell if you were at the game but maybe Fitzsimons was just doing an exceptional job of blocking his runs

You could be right but my takeaway is the supporting cast just aren’t much good.

An ICONIC LOI jersey in all fairness, even if it is Cork.

He has strong Cark connections, doesn’t he?

I presume Dean Rocks wedding Saturday week will distract them for the opening round game and have them playing catch up from early doors though. Maybe they requested the game be played on the Friday.

I only realised on Sunday that there’s two Mulligans within 350 metres of each other in the city centre. I initially entered the wrong one before realising my error. The food and craic in there was brilliant I must say.

They are playing the Wednesday beforehand.

They mean business.

There was a poster on the Kerry gaa board who used to always state ‘Beware the sons of Kerry’ when talking about Dublin players

Fenton’s father is from Kerry

Some right beauts on that forum . Proper yerras

I was sitting next to Fenton’s father at a Dublin game a couple of years ago.

Dublin were playing in the second game of the double header so the entire section (Players families/Dublin County Board/AIG seats) was almost entirely empty for the first match bar myself and himself. Quiet man, still retains a strong Kerry accent. Knows his football.

Was it an exceedingly attractive double header?

Nasty post

I’ve never seen “smoked” used in that context.

He seems like an awful clown.
