No complaints but one or two comments about the ref letting Cork defenders off with persistent fouling, I was in the Caherdavin end and there was nothing out of the ordinary going on in the second half,
Having watched it back I feel that if any team had reason to complain it was Cork, but he did OK

I complimented Cork on how they went about their business - that’s what you want your players doing – if they were’nt out in front they made sure Limerick players didn’t get there … they simply didnt allow Gillane, and Flanagan when he came on, to get out in the channel. Cadogan tormented Gillane … the Limerick players allowed it to happen. They were flat every-were , it happens …

Makes for a decent Munster championship now — you could potentially still have Limerick, Cork, Tipp and Clare on 2 wins each going into the last day when they all play each other.

Limerick have very little of the bench. Nothing teams don’t know about it anyway and Galway made up massive ground on limerick last year when most presumed it was limericks bench that would swing it. I would think limerick will need to be up 7 or 8 with 20 to go. It’s like a horse with a run v a horse fresh. It’s a huge advantage to have a run. Limerick improved massively from opening to second game last year.

Like if cadogan and cooper are back and 100 percent and cork improve 5 points as a team which you’d expect with the cobwebs blown off it’ll take a huge limerick performance. Our opening performance under kiely haven’t been great in 2017 and 18. Limerick will have to be close all ireland semi final/final form imo to win.

How much did Casey and the Dow contribute off the bench in the final? From scores and frees?

1 goal. Dowling came on at the 56th minute when the score was 2-15 to 14 points. Casey came on at the 65th minute when The score was 2-15 to 15 points. Dowling scored a goal on the 67th minute. The score was 3-15 to 16. On the 76th minute the score was 3-15 to 2-17. Casey you could argue I guess assisted the Graeme point to make it 3-16 to 2-17. I have a feeling both will start and one definitely will. Either way if we are 6 or 7 down with 20 minutes and relying on our bench to change our game we are in big trouble.

Limerick are a better team than Cork and will win on Sunday.

Im confident limerick will strip fitter for the run and that’ll be good enough to beat Waterford. At the moment ive seen little to think we can beat Tipperary or Clare. When the tempo cranked up after half time we were absolutely floundering. Our subs made zero impact. I thought at the time we were slow to make changes but infairnous the subs made zero impact. Limerick will need to refocus very quickly and not self implode . Time is on our side. The stars could align for us with the possibility of tipp being qualified by the time we play them maybe.
