FFS weâre poor enough
Dessie was a very good hockey player as well for St Brendanâs.
Doubt Cadogan, Spillane and Ellis will be back any time soon.
You really know your stuff when it comes to cork hurling
Dessie was a very good hockey player as well for St Brendanâs.
Wasnât Martin Storey on the same team?
Hockey involving Dessie Farrell and Martin Storey was a Sports Stadium staple in the mid 1990s
The game between tipp and Clare is huge for Limerick imo. If tipp win the stars sort of align for limerick to qualify. Weâd face Clare in a knockout game for us but not them(ideal at home) and then an already qualified tipp for a place in the top 3. In this scenario Clare would play cork in the final round for a place in the last 3. Tipp 7, limerick 5, clare 4, cork 4 and Waterford 0 will be the final table hopefully. If we beat Waterford and tipp take care of Clare I think Limerick qualify. Thatâs presuming everybody takes care of Waterford.
Youâre like one of those chess supercomputers
The key is for Waterford to lose every game and tipp win their next one v Clare. Thereâs only 6 games left in the championship. If Waterford lose both their games that leaves four games to predict. The huge hinge result is tipp beating Clare. That leaves 3 games. 2 involving limerick. One a knockout a game v Clare at home(not knockout for Clare) and weâd face tipp in a dead rubber game for them. That leaves cork v Clare in ennis as a proper knockout game.
a proper knockout game.
Thereâs no-one deliberately taking a pull tbf, Cork-Limerick the last day hinged on the Nash fumble at one end leading on to Horganâs goal.
Waterford wonât lose every game imho.
Itâs hard to see them beating anyone. They are stone useless.
I think they are at odds with management, and look directionless, but have too many good players and are nowhere near as bad as they looked. Pride will kick in.
Theyâre weakest on paper also, youâd have hoped for a kick from the home games but theyâre going nowhere soon
That is a grand myth but there was a big gap . Lk need to move away from that notion . If management look at it that way ( and tbf I doubt they will) we are in real bother .
To be fair you could be on to something .
There will be a massive kick in them next day at Walsh Park v Lk & they nearly always put it up to Cark .
The Limerick / Clare match will be an absolute dogfight
Heâs unlucky. Is that the second leg break?
Itâs gas how the Limerick lads are wary of Clare but are certain of beating Waterford below in Walsh Park already.
He had a very bad break in 2014 with the club, not sure if itâs the same leg again
Because Waterford are rudderless and Clare are a decent team.
Tough on Philip Mahony. Guy is having no luck at all.
