A great listen.
He was up there at some stage anyway.
Cheddar is another anti Munster championship stooge
Heās the best analyst out there sees through the Munter championship bullshit a mile off
Limerick lads with the little cocktail sausages out again
Hopefully Waterford appoint the Sunday game dream team of Derek McGrath, cusack as a coach and jackie tyrell as selector with Jackie whatever the fuck sheās called as a pr manager and we get lyster, loughnanne and a few more of the old timers back.
How twee
+1 you need a few bad minded curmudgeonly cunts with agendas and a good read of it. Not shapers who spend a longer time doing their hair than joanne
Lyster was as bland as you could get. Absolutely afraid of anything even mildly opinionated.
Have a look at a Sunday Game from 20 years ago, his script didnāt change since then. He was most animated when announcing the phone number for the competition.
There was a great bit of banter between the auld lads too before the game. Telling good stories about the past. Nobody gives a fuck about cusack and his iPad.
Loughnane is brilliant. An awful loss to The Sunday Game. Great hearing him there.
Heās right about Derek McGrath there. He had Brick, Moran and co in their prime and two wins in Munster out of 11 games under him is brutal. Every other RTE pundit would just blow smoke up McGrathās hole.
Thatās the way itās gone these days.
Itās very sad really. Loughnanne used to tell a great story about his first time in croke park wearing a green cap in the terrace. There was a great chemistry between them all.
He did. He got to tell.it a few times last year year when we went on a streak
As the man says āhe had a lovely way about him.ā
Absolutely hated him and that Clare team but a great hurling man who was usually fair and always interesting in his comments as a pundit - unless it came to Tipp or Galway who he always stuck the boot into!
So he was doing his job? Heās just supposed to introduce topics, keep it moving, his fault was cutting across the lads sometimes when the company line was under threat, but it rarely happened. He passed the odd pithy comment, didnāt consider himself an analyst
Joanne is excellent in fairness, a lot better than I thought sheād be
Itās a non professional sport. Lads what fellas slated on the national broadcaster ffs.
And the fat arsed biffos
