All-Ireland Hurling Championship 2019***

Thanks. Balls.
Was hoping it was at 4pm.

How will tickets work for this. Through the clubs? I see football tickets can be bought online .

Galway and Clare both missed out on Top 3 on scoring difference. It didnā€™t help their cause that they both played the whipping boys Carlow and Waterford (both of whom lost all 4) first day when they were at their most competitive. Galway beat Carlow by 6 and Clare beat Waterford by 1. Carlow lost their remaining three matches by 14, 12 and 13. Waterford lost their remaining three matches by 18, 20 and 13.

Hard to have too much sympathy for Clare after losing last two weeks by 13 and 18. Tougher on Galway to go out just six days after producing what was probably the only win in a match of championship intensity in the 20 round robin matches at Nowlan Park last week. Maybe the 6 day turnaround to another away match against Dublin in Parnell Park was a factor as well. Dublin had a 13 day rest since their last match (against Carlow) before last night.

Itā€™s a very unsatisfactory and flawed system.

Is this not a bit of an oxymoron?

Happy in the sense we didnā€™t play well and were still in touch coming down the home stretch. He obviously wont have been happy that lads didnā€™t take their chance.

Tipp were seriously up for that match today. It will be a very different game in Limerick. Saying that Tipp are the best team left in the championship and their hurling is very sharp. They will be very hard for anyone to stop.

Tipp were very sloppy today and should have been ten points up. Thereā€™s alot more in them. The scoreline flattered Limerick.

More goals anyway

In fairness the lads brought in didnā€™t hurl great but its very hard for forwards in particular to shine against Tipp considering how cynical they are. If a forward wins a ball thereā€™s a good chance heā€™ll be brought down before he has the chance to shoot or create a goal chance

Hard to see Tipp keeping it pucked out to a battle-hardened Leinster team after the cakewalk theyā€™ve had in Munster.

Tipp are extremely cynical. Pretty much any attack Limerick had for a period there in the second half (once weā€™d finished fucking the ball around the half back line to see who could make the biggest mess of it) was a free.

I d say you get a free football ticket after you buy a pint of milk , slice pan in centra or super valu

There might be a small allocation distributed online for the hurling??

Unreal.

Hi PM

It will be interesting to see what Cork do from here. Cadogan was roasted by Conlon and was subbed before getting a second yellow for persistent fouling. Downey was miles off the pace as well before being subbed at half time for McDonnell who was just as bad, he got three short puckouts second half and panicked with all three of them as his hurling wasnā€™t up to speed. Ellis also struggled at centre back.

Alan Cadogan was excellent first half, David Mc got to grips with him in the second half and they had a good battle. Aidan Walsh worked hard but is limited while all three of their half forwards lost their individual battles today. As usual, they played some patches of excellent hurling. Will be interesting to see how they rejig the defence for the quarter finals.

Itā€™s time for the umbilical chord between the provincials and the AI to be broken. .

Hard to get the head around the Clare-Cork result. Judging on both their games against Limerick that had all the makings of a total mismatch. Not sure where to rank Cork now

Cork hedging their bets?

Hardly. If Limerick nicked a late goal they could have been out
