Croke Park suggested to the Provincial Councils that the Munster and Leinster Finals alternate between Saturdays and Sundays every second year. Aside from allowing people attend both games this would also have given proper billing to the Joe McDonagh finals which is pretty much overshadowed today. Anyway the Munster Council refused. The cunts.
The Joe McDonagh is a great competition and deserves more exposure. Really even teams that create lots of epic battles every year. Maybe when Galway are playing in it in a couple of years it will start getting the attention it deserves.

The gap is between the Munster minor and senior matches. Minor match has extra time if a draw after normal time.

No . It really hurt Kk too . Cillian Buckley injury worsened , Walter missed Q/ f and while Lk were better team in Q/ f Kilkenny were out on their feet for last 10 mins. The Leinster finals x 2 were played on sweltering Sundays
