I saw him a few times in the league and heâs very loose playing centre back.
Tbf, Diarmuid Ryan was probably the one that was most obviously going to be a senior hurler barring anything drastic happening. Aidan McCarthy seems to have come along nicely too; not totally convinced Cooney is ready yet for this level of hurling but I havenât seen as much of him as you.
Cork were strong all over the pitch that year, maybe less reliant on individuals but yeah, youâd think theyâd be used as bench options over fellas who have been tried plenty of times before.
Ceist
If an under 20 hurler is on co senior panel can he play under 20 ?
I thought that rule only applied for Football but I could be wrong.
Daithi Burke doesnât start for Galway, Callanan back in goal. No Joseph Cooney or Johnny Glynn either.

Teams flying in from all angles tonight. We are back lads!
OâMahony at 6 for Cark wont do. Hope Meyler persists with that.
What are you and Esteban basing this on? Looks a player to me.
What are you basing it on?
I just donât see him cutting it in championship hurling. Doesnt have a patch of Hannons hurling. Nothing personal.
Physically not strong enough either imo.
Fucking davy glennon :-/
That is also my takeaway looking at that galway side. How the fuck is he still there?
Heâs a no good bollox. Shouldnât be near the panel, even if he wasnât the ultimate flat tracker.
Thatâs our strongest team.
Is it fuck
Ah jasus FlattyâŚ
Fuck off Ambrose, you gowl.
