Don’t think so, yesterday was a lot more even while Clare were much better than Cork last year they just couldn’t finish them off.
I’d be bringing in Cahill to mark Richie Hogan the next day but it’s hard to know who’ll lose out as I expect Hogan to start centre forward the next day. Brendan Maher was probably the worst of the backs yesterday. Bubbles, Callanan, Noel McGrath and Lar were brilliant in the forwards, particularly Bubbles

I think Tipp were much better yesterday but Kilkenny work rate and sheer doggedness kept them in it. I think Tipp will win replay with a bit to spare because they should now believe they can beat Kilkenny.
Draw final last year was more of a spectacle because of the way it ebbed and flowed but they were both great games.

Eh Tipp were much the better team yesterday
Really? We only got three wides in the game so not like we were wasting ball. We had a few goal chances alright and the penalty situation is a complete farce by the way although I’d say we wouldn’t score a penalty if you were allowed take them on the 14. Kilkenny were totally dominant for a good bit of the second half
Callanan fluffed an easy chance for a score right at the death this has been ignored.
I can’t believe bonner didn’t get more praise I thought he was outstanding without him tipp would be fucked.
Bubbles is the most accurate striker from play I can remember seeing.
Kilkenny wilted 10 mins out, and tried too hard to get goals to finish it they would have tapped points in other years.Richie hogan spent ages on his right hamstring in the warm up so it’s obviously an ongoing issue.
Limerick people are making shows of themselves saying the Kilkenny minors were cynical or dirty, limerick didn’t perform, stop looking for grievances or excuses.
The circumstance is not an issue according to the rule and Kelly himself was quite firm when getting Podge Collins sent off for a lesser incident that had no bearing on play. Kelly was linesman at the time and its this blatent type of inconsistency that he exhibits shows his descisions are agenda based and the rule book is something the great Barry will use as his great might as enforcer will dictate.
That was some game yesterday, I decided to go along in the end and I’m glad I did.
My thoughts in random order:
KK keeper was bad for PBMs goal
I haven’t seen it back but I think Bonnar was at centre forward when he caught two in a row (scored the goal and won and penalty)? He ended up in the corner shortly afterwards which I thought was strange. He definitely moved further in. Hogan was in bother all day.
KK weren’t able for Tipp when they ran at them.
KK were unbelievably cynical when Tipp got near their goals (and rightly so in my book), Tipp were too honest down the other end.
I thought it very interesting that Hogan and Reid went on the line for the penos, they obviously practice stopping penalties a fair bit and have picked the two lads out as the best. The new penalty rule really makes it worthwhile to foul, I would say it was in KK’s game plan to give away 21’s and penalties when necessary.
Saying that KK were very clinical in finishing the goal chances they got, while Tipp missed at least 5 good goal chances.
Richie Hogan saved their bacon big time when he went centre forward. It was a masterclass.
Lar rolled back the years yesterday and it was great to see.
There was some unbelievable corner back displays on both sides yesterday.
Shefflin shouldn’t have been brought on (Walsh would have been the better choice when they needed to close it out). Neither should Kelly, saying that if Kelly was on 5 minutes earlier he would have stuck that penalty.
KK handled Callinan well forcing him to go away from goals to get the ball but he got some lovely scores from difficult positions.
Bubbles has been the find of the championship, unreal.
TJ Reids finish for the second goal was class, the speed he turned and hit it with was awesome.
The same umpire called for hawkeye three times  why not just get rid of the cunts altogether.
Overall I feel that Tipp left it behind them, there is plenty there to suggest they can take them the next day if they can stop leaking goals.
As an aside, KK people are horrible bastards. I went into the match as a neutral with mutual disdain for both sets of cunts, but I have come to the conclusion that KK are streets ahead of Tipp in the cunt stakes.
They were abusing Barry Kelly before the ball was even thrown in.
They were complaining about him riding them even though he let them off very lightly with their cynical defending.
They jeered at the Tipp lads whenever they made a mistake, and then threw in some very personal abuse at them.
Anytime they got ahead they were in the faces of the Tipp fans around me.
When they were behind they were jeering their own players.
This is my third such experience with KK people, a horrible clueless bunch.
I will be firmly supporting Tipp the next day.
I think I predicted bubbles as a star around 5 years ago

The 09 U21 final was my first experience of it, they abused the shit out of Mulhall, Hogan and their centre back that day. Saying after in bad taste that we beat nothing and none of the players on the field would go on to do anything.
2012 was exactly the same.
Tipp were the far better team yesterday I thought. Without stating the obvious. The goals were the difference. The only chances Tipp didn’t take were the goal ones, whereas Kilkenny buried theirs.
He led an average Tipp minor team to an All Ireland semi and an average u21 team to within seconds of winning a Munster final. Never got the same hype as others in Tipp because he was from South Tipp in my opinion
I’d agree with this. I think Tipp missed 7 goal chances yesterday. The two penalties, Corbetts shot off the post, Mahers shot that was saved, Corbetts pass to Callinan and the subsequent block, I think O’Dwyer had a shot blocked and the absolute worst of all Gearoid Ryan blazing over the bar with an open goal in front of him. If the cunts were playing Waterford they’d have scored 7 goals but unfortunately it was Kilkenny and they were trying too hard.

Your final line has prevented me from being able to like or agree with that post, the rest of which is spot on. But you’d better cop the fuck onto yourself before you become like that stunted degenerate @TreatyStones.
That’s completely inaccurate, pal. Yesterday’s minor referee Fergal Horgan was the linesman when Podge Collins was sent off by Cathal McAllister for grabbing David Redmond’s helmet.
Barry Kelly was linesman in the replay when he informed the hapless Johnny Ryan that it was Jack Browne who had committed yet another bookable offence.

Apologies, you are correct.
Never, EVER apologize on the internet.
You will now be perceived as a weak poster who lacks any authority.
I believe Caoimhaion is offering coaching on how to be right even when you are wrong.

Tipp were definitely the better team. Barrett was a star, Bonner Maher, Bubbles and Callanan in the last 15 minutes stood up and were counted. I only decided to go at about 1:00 yesterday and thus missed the minor match. That was a blessing. But what a decision to go. A day of days. And I even met Joe Hayes and John Allen afterwards. I’m feeling pretty emotional about it all still. I’m glad I live in Dublin. Roll on the replay.
Kudos to Callanan. I’ve said for a few years while he’s struggled with injury/dopey management that he would come good and be a super player. But at the same time, up til now I’ve felt he has been overrated this year, and is not the unmarkable forward he was made out to be. He was however, better than I expected, and really stepped up and showed a bit of leadership too. I still don’t think he’s unstoppable, but I think he came of age and proved the last few doubters wrong. Incidentally, this makes Richie McCarthy’s marshalling if him earlier in the year all the more impressive.
