Johnstown & Tullaroan just biding their time till they go the way of Dunna & Graigue - In fact would not be surprised to see Dunna hurling Junior in 2015.

Ah no don’t - Southern Championship is now one of the “don’t matter a wank” competitions at junior level. They changed the format 2 years ago, in a positive sense actually. 2nd teams i.e. the village etc must play amonst themselves for a semi spot whilst the “real” teams are split into 2 groups who play off on a league basis to determine championship standings al a the senior and inter comps.

Lockes came 4th in their group so will play the 2nd placed team in opposing group which is Mooncoin (amazing they are Junior) in championship proper week after All Ireland.

I would like to see the game pan out as follows.

KK fucking destroy Tipp absolutely mangle em throughout the field with a 17 point lead
with 7 minutes on the clock. Then Tipp to awaken to slam home 4 goals and six points in the remaining minutes to beat the English by a point. That would be really good.
