JBM has done a super job when you take into account the fact that he has fuck all underage success to work with. He’s has gotten as much as he could out of those players. He trawled the county for rough diamonds like Mark Ellis Seamie Harnedy and Billy Cooper. The underage structures require serious attention and i hope JBM will take the u21 job if he’s had enough of managing at senior level.
Ah piss off how many clubs are there in Cork to pick from again??
JBM won’t be leaving. There might not be an All Ireland in that side but they’re a much better side then what we saw today and he’ll want to set the record straight
Either that or read the signs and leave before they completely collapse.
Well If Tipp go on to win the AI, Cunningham will have a bit more confidence based on the fact they gave them a good game… albeit for 60 minutes
Lets call a spade a spade, Tipp will need to improve 25% to beat KK.
Question marks remain.
Christ I hope not, he seems to be their only real passenger at this stage!
I would have called today a complete collapse. It’s not reflective of their true standing though, granted there were a few signs the first day against Waterford but you don’t draw an All Ireland Final, go on and win Munster and then suddenly turn into utter scutter overnight. Something was up, not that they would have beaten Tipp in any case today.
Calling @Bartosz Bereszynskiego can you please grade my use of the words There, Their and They’re in my last 2 posts?

Haha G’man KK barely survived through their tenacity and timely goals, a game played today they would have lost by 6/7.
Tipp forwards/Midfield if they can repeat today would annihilate kk.
We’re shite but we got a draw out of kilkenny and could have beaten tipp when we had them on the rack. Shows the hurlers are there if they can be properly organised and made give a fuck. Today also shows how soft clares all ireland was, not that thats in doubt
Fat chance of that happening.
Absolute meltdown from cork. Chipp were good though, their backs are a very good unit and Cathal Barrett is a shoe-in for YHOTY. Callinan will get HOTY after he cleans JJ in the final too.
The break from the munshter final can’t be blamed either, they were only 2 down at h-t and proceeded to play worse after the break. Hardly any decent ball given to their forwards, they let chipp away with murder on their puck outs, it was awful from them all over the field. A horrible day at the office.
Chipp have the wind in their sails now though, Bonnar showed again that he is the heart of their forward line, he was immense today. From 1-9 they are excellent. They’ll take us by at least 6.
The two Maher’s were excellent and laid the foundations for that win, ably assisted by the 4 other colleagues in the backs. Well deserved win by Tipp and I don’t think they have much to fear in the final and it should be a very tight game.
Has a player ever scored so much from play in one championship seasons despite having as little involvement as John O’Dwyer. Has no interest in doing any spade work but by fuck he is some man to take a score once he gets the ball in hand. Serious finisher

He’s a champagne hurler. Champagne Bubbles. Clonmel Champagne. That’s how he got his nickname. I think.
It’s cos he was a fat lad Sid
Noel McGrath I dunno how he gets away with it? An absolute wind bag who hasn’t played well in about 4 years.
Kilkenny will ate chip without salt in a few weeks time.
I made that up, mate.
Gutted. Thought Cork had a decent first half albeit nine wides but forwards didn’t show up. Looked very flat. I suspect that is it for JBM. Would like Kingston to take it on if he calls it quits.
Sport is binary. Win or lose. It is why it is great but it will also break your heart.

Im not sure the team was a lot better when Ger Cunningham was training them.I just hope JBM sticks around for another while.Anyway were down today but the Waterford Crystal Cup in January won’t be long coming around again!
