Despite all you might read on TFK the vast majority of people who have played the game at underage and adult level would have really enjoyed it.
Sure I played it myself up to the first year of U16. The lads with early growth spurts who you were able to brush off as a 14 year old were now nearly 6ft. And the away trips were always too far away cos there was so few teams. Soccer was a much handier game to play at that stage.
Con had chips sausage etc for all pinting after the match. Great day by all. They had their gall full for the pre match lunch. For the rugby, old rivalries mean more
Nure got the checkbook out. Pp had a 5 point handicap which was overturned with change.
24 20 to cookies at HQ. A hattrick of ridiculous trys from conor Hayes. I’ll post the highlights when available
Was that against Lansdowne? Great result.if it is
Yeah Lansdown. Massive win away. 4 from 4 and beat 3 of the top teams already
Garryowen and Munsters blazing a trail. That’s a big win on the road for the cookies.
I’m presuming you were at the Munsters Terenure match? I’d a brother playing for that was sin binned!
League Tables taking clear shape now with separation between those chasing promotion etc and those who are already in a relegation battle.
Narrows it down to 3? We have an awful habit of yellows
One of them is a Cork man anyway assume that rules out Lionel. I think another was a tipp man

Irish Rugby
Correct rules down to one Limerick man. Nask slipping. Unless lionels brother plays in Dublin.
Side note the cork man has a minor football all ireland medal. Cracking player
Taking shape now alright. Still 14 rounds to play. 1A you have 6 teams looking for top 4 and probably the 3 college teams and Ballynahinch fighting to avoid the drop.
1B Highfield are continuing on from pre covid, which they were robbed of promotion. Apparently they wanted the IRfU to award them promotion and solicitors letters were involved and all. Armagh Wesley shannon and Mary’s all starting well for fight for play offs but anyone could get in there yet. Looks like navan and Banbridge will be fighting relegation.
2A. Queens are incredibly strong. Ulster are sending most of the academy there now trying to push them up the league. Barnhall will fight them but hard to see outside those 2 winning that league. Cashel have been very hard done by with 2 matches declared a draw over covid outside their squad. Dolphin and buccs have started well and will push for play offs. Crescent are bottom, tough start for them they have a decent squad. Not looking good but I say they will survive.
2B greystones and wanderers will shoot it out for top spot. Miles ahead of everyone else it seems. Toss up for the remaining 2 play off spots. Most other teams are around the same level. Weigens and malahide appear to be in trouble. Few years ago weigens threw away a losing bonus point vs con in 1A with an intercept in the last play of the last game. That sent them down and cost cookies a home semi. They are now looking down the barrel of being in the bottom tier.
2C Enniscorty have taken to senior rugby with a storm. I reckon they will top this division. Skerris also flying it. Very worrying for Sundays well. Ot good to see 3 munster teams battling to avoid a return to junior. Not so long ago waterpark and kanturk were in AIL and now junior division 2.

Waterpark are Div 1 but fair point. Hard to get up to AIL and for most clubs it’s not worth it at all

Scorthy play Skerries next I think. Should be a cracker. Some job done keeping the squad together
He’s playing for terenure these days
Correct I was thinking of Waterford city. Wernt waterpark down to div 2 at some point?
Coming back up is incredibly hard
