All-Ireland Senior Football Championship 2016 You Are What You Eat

Their actions when Conor was dropped off the panel earlier in the year didnt go down well either. Saying that Seamie was very good yesterday and deserves a pass in the post mortem.

Mayo again equalled the record losing score in a 70 minute All-Ireland final yesterday of 1-14, like they did in 2013. Kerry 1982 and Meath 1991 also scored 17 points or the equivalent.

Score 18 points and you’ll win an All-Ireland final.

Dublin have now won four of their last five All-Irelands by one point.

It’s 1977 since Dublin won an All-Ireland final by more than one score.

I would dump Aidan O’Se to be honest.

He has stood around way too much when needed most. Arrogant cunt who doesn’t know how to win.

I think an almighty kick in the hole is needed. Easier said than done however.

He’s a gobshite.

The only one who can change Aidan O’Shea is himself. Even his public persona suggests he’s both the sort who has never had much criticism aimed at him by those close to him and also the sort that would not take kindly to any criticism. It’s ridiculous to say he should be dumped because Mayo need him but it might benefit him to listen to some criticism and become a bit more self-aware of his limitations.

An embarrassment. He made a few efforts more yesterday at times, but fuck me is there anything in the ears at all near the end of games.

I fear Mayos managemebt may actually be a bit weak. And they certainly are if those rumours are true. Rumours i know, but there is a pattern with these O’Sheas.

I’m sound skip and you…I’m from Galway, you know that surly

It reminds me of the Conor Mortimer statement, “Mayo fans say they wont win an All Ireland with me, well I can tell them they wont win it without me either”.

I know well… The way you were cat calling every decision Dublin got was disgusting.

I think this is a problem with Mayo, the players are generally treated as Gods there. You could see it in how they all circled ranks and tried to pin the blame on the management team after last year’s exit to Dublin. Guys like O’Shea are never brought to task. I don’t think his attitude would be tolerated or indulged in any other of the big counties.

Its not ridiculous. I fear he is so ruined by mothers and coaches of the past he is beyond repair. And if thats the case he is worth more to Mayo not being there. It will end in tears if he doesn’t get pulled asap, and as i saw, he is probably beyond help now.
Connolly is arguably similar in popularity and attitude in ways. But Connolly produces, at any time at all and while he may be beaten some days, he certainly doesn’t hide.

A bad apple can really fuck a team. He was a big voice with the removal of management. When people in Mayo, including players, watch back the 2 finals they are going to be thinking " Jesus Aidan, you were all fucking talk last winter…"

I am a disgusting…your dead right… I had rose tinted glasses on…

The only one who will retire is bastick, but God knows what cluxton might do. He is 30 odd now been going for 10 years and has had a few wobbles.

The o’Byrne cup and league will be interesting for dublin. They will need to bring in players to give them a chance to see what they can do. No harm sacrificing the league if we get more options for the All Ireland.

We got a glimpse of brogans and MDMA future yesterday where they came on as subs. We do need to unearth a couple of mid fielders and forwards even just to have options off the bench. With macaffery coming back it might be possible to move Mccarthy in to the middle and have a half back line of macaffery, o’sullivan and small.

Problem is if Aidan is dropped the rest of the O’Shea’s probably walk too and thus there is potentially catastrophic disharmony in the camp.

O’Shea can still be a very good player for Mayo but he needs to cop himself on and have a bit more humility.

Connolly wasn’t always the hard working team player he is now. He’s developed into that because he has humility about him - you can’t do it without that.

A few belts on the snout from some powerful people in Vincents did him no harm either.

Donie Vaughan and keegan were badly missed in the second half yesterday, both are always good for a score when it’s needed and would surely have pushed mayo on.For all dublins greatness they could still only beat a team with no quality forwards by a single point after a replay.Tyrone will beat mayo in the final next year,by a point

Dublin are actually shit

terrible in the last 2 games, terrible vs kerry last year

We have gone more defensive especially after the beating we took against Donegal. I happy that it wasn’t us that mayo beat in a final. We’d never live that down.

anyone know why the Mayo player wasn’t sent off in the last minute for kicking Kilkenny in the head?
