Does the ball need to come out of the hand before the strike with the palm when someone’s hand passing it? As in a 2-part process - the throw and the palm/strike? It’s been a bug bear of mine for a good few years now. Lads just flip it out of their hand in a single motion most of the time. Using their fingers (steady on) to flip/throw to give the impression of proper strike.

You overrate their talent massively IMO. They’re still bringing on Colin Ryan ffs and he arguably should have started for frees alone. They have one ball winning forward in Conlon and even he seems to go through long spells of bad form. Most of their best players are midgets who get fucked out of the way easily by bigger men. Even Tony Kelly can’t win many physical challenges and relies on being passed the ball by other players. Galvin is class in fairness. Their backs despite having a permanent sweeper still look dodgy at times and again aren’t physical enough. There is nothing Davy can really do about these issues and they’ll still be there when he’s gone. One underage team isn’t enough to contend against the better teams consistently
