No TUM only mentioned the speed of the surface. I’ll let someone else do a graph of the grass length and quality and the factored speed of surface and we can see how Nowlan Park and Croke park are similar, thurles is slippy and the Hyde is a bog.
Would tidying up your grammar be out of the question altogether?
Not saying they are a Croke Park team. Game was reffed differently in 2013. Saying that Clare pace and mobility was mentioned before and during game as likely to trouble Galway but it didn’t. Speculated that Croke Park is a faster surface so maybe there it might make a difference.
We all know the only reason Clare won the All Ireland in 2013 is because Tipp and Kilkenny weren’t there
I don’t think it’s any faster than Thurles to be honest.
That was the year Barry Kelly applied the rules to Kilkenny. We all know how that ended up.
Thurles surface is a big compared to Croke park
Thurles is a swamp compared to Croke Park
Attention Grammar Police.
Is sorting your spelling out of the question?
the dynamic coefficient of friction is less in Croke Park, obviously.
I’d say it makes a 0.01% difference.
Touché. People with iPhones don’t commonly type the word “bog”, apparently.
Stupid Tipp Cunt should watch where he is going. His eyes were closed as can be clearly seen in that pic
Kelly had his chance in the drawn 2014 final and still couldn’t beat us.
This has to be a first
Sending the half-backs up to contest our own puckouts was one of his new tactics this year. But Bugler had been dispatched to do a man marking job on Canning for the day. I presume he meant that we shouldn’t have been dropping a puckout on Canning, given that Canning is such an animal in the air as we saw in the Leinster final.
Regarding the defensive issue, Tommy Dunne made the point after the Munster final that Waterford’s backs are so used to just breaking ball for TDB that they don’t seem capable of attacking it to win it.
Galway’s goal after half-time was the most embarrassing I think I’ve ever seen Clare concede in the championship. Half the defenders weren’t even in position, never mind a sweeper.
The first 60 seconds of both half’s there was a completely unmarked galway player, I was as close to him halfway up the stand as the next clare player. It was ridiculous, playing to a system that prevents all common sense.
As an aside I met the two biggest yokels I’ve ever seen on the train from dublin yesterday. Two middle aged galway lads who spent the entire journey listening to,repeating and being generally amused by davy Fitz gift grub clips. The hilarious irony being that you could not understand what language they were speaking.
Where did he position Harte?
