All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 2016

Sweeping infront of full back line

I like the cut of Donohoe’s jib but that’s hardly rocket science.

If Galway bate Tipp, it’ll be the greatest achievement since Offaly 98

We havent been tactically shrewd in Galway up to this point… obviously its not rocket science, a simple move in fact but the important thing is that it worked.

Totally disagree, any decent player pulling on the ball in the air will know if they’re going to be close to connecting with the ball or a man. The reason it’s not done anymore is the complete unpredictability of the result

Did ya see the water coming up off the pitch during the minor warm ups ? Definitely watered big time or rain but it didn’t seem like it rained going around the town.

There was a lot of rain Sunday morning from 4.00am onwards till late morning. Would explain the greasy slippy conditions for the minor match.

Thurles is the finest pitch in Ireland.

It used to be, I’m not sure it is anymore

As in up to the half forward line or hit the puckouts shorter?

I agree, but I think it’s something that is under used, particularly when your up against a very dominant half back line under puckouts. It’s due a comeback

Up in half forward line

Yeah, up to the half-forward line. There’s some logic to it, provided everyone else drops back a line to avoid acres of space being left in front of your full-back line. At the end of the day it’s a bit convoluted, but if you can’t win your puckouts you have to do something.

That ref truly did go out of his way to ruin that Munster U21 final. He was awful.

Will you leave the man Rest in Peace ffs
