Decent oul game in Nolan Park there today. We made heavy weather of it but we were the better team. Big lesson there for us in how to mark Richie Hogan. Kilkenny were weak all over the field though. None of the new lads looked up to the job and the Paraic Walsh at full back experiment didn’t seem to work.
Saw Eddie Keher afterwards. I’d say he was fuming at the soft yellow cards.

Not at all. Hopped into the car and drove back to Dublin. Only a league win in February. No need to go mad.
