I’m sure half the country is driving around with incorrect pressure in their tyres but surely there has to be some sanction on the driver when something like this happens, unlucky or harsh as it may be.
I’m not disputing that but that I feel for the poor girl having to fight this charge.
This girls carelessness seems to have caused her enough heartbreak already, dragging her through the courts is excessive
That’s no kind of argument. What about the pain of the other families involved? What about the next accident where a gang of teenagers are killed on account of the actions of their mate?
They are going through due process. Her negligence led to the deaths. You’re supposed to have your tires inflated properly.
OK mate, next time I’ll argue the other side so you can see both sides yourself
You’re supposed to be able to spell properly as well.
Continue away on the dunder-headed side, it’s expecting too much of you to talk a bit of sense.
Was there a fully licensed driver in the car I wonder. States that she was on a provisional anyways.
Fair enough, you would wish to bring further misery to this girl who was 18 or 19 at the time and lost her 4 best friends because she hadn’t her tyres pumped up to the correct pressure.
Oddball.
So if she feels bad, that’s enough? Her misery isn’t the point you snowflake. That’s for a judge to take into account.
You’re quite the anti snowflake crusader here
How often would you check your tyre pressure?? And when you were 19??
I say black and you say white.
I suppose all the kids in the country will be checking their tyre pressure because of this, they will in their holes, it was an accident, they happen, there’s enough shitheads on the roads getting away with all sorts of shit every day.
More redundant arguments, and for some bizarre reason you think this is all about you after @farmerinthecity started the debate.
You can be sure as shit they won’t check them if a free pass is given for an accident where four kids are left dead.
Give this a listen, gives you an insight into the mindset of the young Donegal driver. The young women interviewed are probably no different to the young men…
The attitude to driving up here is absolutely fucking ridiculous. I’ve never seen anything like the amount of drivers here that insist on overtaking in extremely dangerous, and illegal, situations.
The Rally Weekend does nothing to help either as all of the ‘young bucks’ are out for months before practicing diffing - I’m still not sure what this actually entails. They’re talking about banning thew diffing competitions from next year on but there’s a long way to go if any significant impact is to be made on the general attitude to driving in Donegal.
Don’t fall for the propaganda that seat belts make driving safer!
That’s groupthink!
What’s diffing?
Donegal people are fucking simpletons.
Probably boils down to an insurance issue here with civil case to follow
