Im happy enough with SoN
Not sure daly is the next coming of BC to be honest.
Anyhow, if BC was in charge of Galway, half the panel.would have left, because itâs not quite life or death to them, and some petty clique of moustachioed slack wearing yokels would have delightedly deposed him.
He was very unlucky not to reach the all Ireland in 2013 .
His problem is that he is too pally & loyal to the players. He let Dublin get very stale in the end. He stuck with the same crew throughout his tenure.
2 All Ireland Semis v Cork were the moments his management tenure will be remembered for.
If Clare went 7 ahead in second half 05 Cork were probably gone (Lynch had 3 or 4 uncharacteristic wides). If OâDwyer stays on in 13 they would have won.
In both cases there is reason to believe victories in those games would have seen AI sucess
Winning an All-Ireland with either team would have been a massive overachievement. Iâd like to have seen how far he could have taken the very talented Clare generation post-Davy.
I agree with that summation but you have to remember his involvement from 16 to 19 would have taken away Moloney and OâConnors opportunity having delivered more than any other management team ever did for us between 10 and 14.
Would have brought immense pressure which was bad enough considering he didnt exactly get the respect he deserved from the Board in my view.
Daly brought a winning mentality to Limerick hurling.
Youâd want to be a pig ignorant cunt not to appreciate Daly.
A very questionable character. A wildly over rated manager and player. A very average pundit.
A man who gets the most out of himself, and others, it seems. Theres a lot to be said for itâŚ
Better than a useless cunt that had bags of ability sitting down the pub telling any cunt that will listen how he could have made county.
Daly lived it man.
Maybe dalo could help out Clarecastle considering their in the doldrums.
Heâs mentioned being over the 21s on the podcast
Do you want him to stage a coup?
Has any charged Daly with not doing enough for Clarecastle? Their in the Doldrums apparently.
Theyâre
Theyâve been in the doldrums on and off for the last 17 years.
Clarecastle put 100% of their focus on youth development a few years back and pretty much let off teams over a certain age. Those lads would be adults now, in about 3/4 years theyâll see the fruit of the labour, from the underage they put effort in with . They have a good bit of representation on underage county teams again.
Theyâve a small enough pick as well
A strong Clarecastle is a strong Clare.
Being unable to poach Ballyea lads anymore hasnt helped their cause
81 years weak as water sure.
Dalo in imperious form on the latest Examiner podcast. Started off slowly with only one brief mention of pints but came into his own in the final 10 minutes with multiple references of going for a rake of pints with x, y and z.
Bonus points for Dalo for sending Mark Landers home with his tae in his mug after Landers had gone full Cork.
