Shows you how far I have regressed as a poster, as a semi hipster and as a human being… I need a good fucking kicking.
Did you not read glasagusbans epic tale of trying to escape rathfarnham?
No, mate… link?
Ah, the good old days…
At this stage of the week, the last few surviving swimmers of @ChocolateMice would be trying to furiously infuse with some female earthworms eggs in the filthy grass of Marley Park.
You’re fall has been dramatic but as long as your happy mate, that’s all that matters.

Suburban War.
Let’s go for a drive
And see the town tonight
There’s nothing to do
But I don’t mind when I’m with you
A nod to The Smiths and There is a Light That Never Goes Out
This masterpiece can’t be posted enough times.
Neighbourhood #1
‘Then we think of our parents - OH WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THEM!!’
Bump for this song. Magnificent.
Chocolate mice way ahead of the curve with this thread. A visionary…
They fell away a bit after The Suburbs for me.
I thought their last album - Everything Now - was pretty poor.
That stings.
The title track was like something Linda Martin would sing.
Yeah, never could get into them tbh. Myself and a friend wandered into that Electric Picnic performance in 05, and it was really enjoyable. I belatedly bought Funeral in the aftermath, but when a pal started singing the Coca-Cola Christmas ad song “Holidays are coming…” over one track on the album, that did it for me. I don’t think I listened to the album again.
