The Polish league is a joke. Kilmallock United would make a good fist of it. Legia had a bad start but will win it out. Those lads will be relegated next season.
Speaking of Kilmallock, they’ve made the quarters of the FAI Junior Cup. Impressive enough.
Derek McCarthy is over them, they’ve got a couple of Heffernans who are supposedly good enough and Barry Sheedy is banging in the goals.

Saw a link on twitter last year that says different,many parts of the country ( at that time) couldn’t fill jobs as so many 25/35s were out of the labour force
600k Ukrainians came in to work last year. Unemployment is around 5%, zero in the cities. You can’t get construction workers or tradesmen.
The right wing populist nut job Government got elected by bringing in a children’s allowance which has improved the lot of the very poor but at the same time created enough of a financial incentive for some not to bother working or trying. Mainly in rural areas.
If you look at an electoral map of the country, all the cities and the west vote for the centrist party. The rest vote for the boys backed by the Holy Roman Catholic Church. There are even Polish nazis now FFS.

Can you speak or get by in certain situations with broken Polish?
If you had a few acres and a litter of sprogs how much would “the farmers dole” be worth?
No I prefer to speak it fluently. But all jokes aside a lot of people speak English to a decent level here now. It’s easier to get by with a few words now.

120 euro a month per kid. Dole is only for six months. About 100 a month.
At this stage I’ll stay put so.
It is the height of disrespect to any country if after moving there, one does not make the effort to learn the lingo.
