They just appeared there did they
Runt, i am thinking of doing something new with my potatoes for tomorrow’s dinner and am thinking along the lines of baking them. Have never done so before but have a packet of roosters spuds here, could i use them or would you need a certain type of spud? I would never eat the skins off roosters, would consider them dirty looking and they have that reddish skin maybe not suitable to baking? Thanks in advance for your advice.
Roosters would be fine for baking.
You’ll need to leave them in the oven for the bones of an hour though, so make sure you put them on in plenty of time.
roll in olive oil with skins on and as runt said they’ll an hour unless they are small spuds.
Olive oil and plenty of sea salt.
Get a knife, cut a cross in the spud, stick in a microwave for 15mins, done.
Serve with butter or beans or chilli con carne.
Would ye wrap in tin foil or not?
In the microwave yes, oven don’t bother.

Put it on a metal baking tray as well.
That is as weak as CM’s reply.
Thanks for the advice, chaps.
Will need to purchase one of those integrated double ovens in the coming months. Anyone got anything particularly to recommend?
Have you tried these pizza bases from Tesco?
They’re a great ruddy job, by far and away the best I’ve tried.

They are unreal. Pretty sure I recommended them on here a while back.
I’ve seen places charging €6 per pack
It’s a restaurant quality pizza. Takes no time to prepare either.
This is a simple recipe that I use for pizza bases, can’t be beat, I’ve used it since 2012, if you don’t have a pizza stone a roasting hot baking tray will do
Twould hit the spot right now
@glasagusban I think you’d like this one as there’s a nice dollop of lime pickle in it. I substituted chicken for lamb.
