Gatlin really did make a balls of it dipping too soon. Terrific stuff though from Usain after such an injury ravaged year.
Bolt wins
The coverage of that was awful. Waited ages for a replay. No tracking camera replays to show how they were positioned at different points of the race. Would have liked to have seen how they were doing with 10m left.
As nice as it was to see Gatlin beaten, the rush to embrace the saviour of clean running seems a little naive at best.

Gatlin really made a balls of it. He was probably on for 9.75’ish before messing up his finish. It really is an incredible discipline on a technical level. So much timing at various stages of the race and so much has to be got absolutely spot on.

I did. 11/8 on Bolt to win 100m and 200m along with Farah to win 10k at 4/9.
5/2 odd the treble? Skinny enough. Bolt’s reputation clearly played a factor.
Bolt has been out of sorts all year but was always going to raise it for the finals. The Farah one was nailed on and I can never see Bolt being beaten over 200m so for me it was a bet on Bolt to win the 100m.
