Long and lean.
Hepthathletes are perfect really, the sheer task at hand means the elite have to be in the middle of everything.
Noticable trend towards mixed race as well, at least with the yanks and brits etc

When women’s pole vaulting first became an Olympic event, most were former teen gymnasts whose bodies developed too much to allow them progress to the upper class of the sport. They were generally fucking unreal back then as a result. Now it’s more specialized but you still get the odd gem.
