I wonder about that state of our livers sometimes. The memories (or lack of them) were worth it I suppose.
We all lived like Georgie Best did in the 70s
I’m falling away with the hunger here.
Are you fasting or nil by mouth?
Fasting since the dinner yesterday.
Ring sting too?
My brother in law (85) had his dinner (in the middle of the day) there yesterday and clambered back into the cot for a nod. By the time the sticky toffee pudding was polished off the spark had gone out. RIP. I commented that he couldn’t have been happier “lán agus sa leaba”…
Judging by the levels of messages flying about and reported attendees I could be signing in for a few days in a row. A mighty oul’ sort who’d have enjoyed the send off immensely.
A great way to die by all accounts.
Lucky bastard
Well it’s a shame that he died, but at least it didn’t ruin his day
RIP and condolences.
The bed of heaven to him. Lovely way to go. My condolences Boxty.
Condolences chief.
Great way to go all the same
That would be the way to go. Hope you all get over the few days okay Boxty
RIP to him. Sorry for your loss. Send him out with a bang.
Who was doing the cooking?
I’ll raise a glass for him tonight. May he RIP
An absolute tragedy to have missed the sticky toffee pud.
Ar dheis Dé…
Sorry for you loss @anon67715551 . Sounds like he had a good innings, and went out the way most of us would choose.
