Essendon beat Carlton 105 - 84. Good last quarter from Carlton made it someway competitive. Ciaran Byrne made his debut for Carlton too, and did well in anything I saw.

Byrne only came on for the last quarter but had a decent amount of disposals for just one quarter. This Heeney fella with the Swans seems like a top player. Local boy aswell I think.

Casey is his nickname. He had a great fondness for Matlock as a child and loved trying to solve ‘caseys’ as he called them, hence the nickname sticking.
