A grand article but not as entertaining or as shocking as his Air France one.
The “breadcrumb” theory around the flight simulator is interesting alright though.
Looks like they were sparse enough with the truth in the story below.
The pilot realised he wasn’t going to make the take-off, dumped fuel and hit the brakes to such an extent that the tyres went on fire. A close call by all accounts.
