They are not great live tracks because Oasis werenât capable of playing them live, the only songs they could pull off live were anthems like the ones you mentioned. They were a very average live band and very poor musicians, mostly cast offs from other bands.
None of the classic Oasis line up were cast offs from other bands
Maybe not Alright by Supergrass.
Remember 74-75 by the Connells they did an updated version of the video. Right in the feels

This is the best live version of Fade In Out Iâve heard
Noel is singing on it though
I was at this concert
Cicero_Dandi:
WTSMG had a number of anthems on it in in the likes of Champagne Supernova and Donât Look Back In Anger which were great for a sing along but bar Morning Glory, Wonderwall, Roll With it and Some Might Say, there wouldnât be much Iâd turn on to for a listen with my headphones
Youâve made a tremendous case there @Cicero_Dandi

The Swamp Song which is the filler on tracks 6 and 11 is brilliant
The full version of it was a b-side to Wonderwall
It opened every live show between Glastonbury in June 1995 and Maine Road in April 1996
The Glastonbury version of it is particularly good
Unbelievable post.
I was out in Vincentâs hospital with a relative for a couple of hours this morning and got thinking afterwards about years ticking by and mortality and all that lark.
That song list has just transported me back to very happy childhood days. 1995. We won the U14 county championship. I was held scoreless in the final.

Do you know what we really need on this forum?
A debate about which band posters prefer- Blur or Oasis.
The forum is crying out for it.
Youâve taken the fun out of everything

That came from an album called âLeisureâ which is a close relation of fun
I need to get some decent professional portraits taken before old man time ravages my rugged looks.
Look mate, Iâm not much of a fan of Oasis, maybe 20 years ago. Thereâs plenty good music out there, no need to be stuck in the past. Some of us move on.

I was on a bus from Galway to Dublin on a very sunny morning a few months back, it was Easter Monday, and as the bus was leaving the suburbs of Galway town, the radio on the bus started playing Country House by Blur
I was suddenly transported back to August 1995, when the grass was parched to hell and Jayo was all the rage and it was going to be Liverpoolâs year
That was a great month and the music that was on heavy rotation on Music Television back then was great too
The heavyweight championship battle of Country House v Roll With It
Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me by U2
Violet by Hole
Waterfalls by TLC
Kiss From A Rose by Seal
Alright by Supergrass
A Girl Like You by Edwyn Collins
Hand In My Pocket by Alanis Morissette
Common People by Pulp
If any of these songs came out now theyâd win single of the decade
Agreed, Modern Life is Rubbish.
