Today is Tony’s 44th birthday. He says he’s packing in darts altogether after this tournament. Let’s hope he changes his mind. It’d be a crying shame to see a player of his calibre leave the game.

Lakeside classic time again, and the BBC are extending their coverage past the scheduled 4:15 end time to stay with this. Great public service broadcasting from Auntie.
Between Martin Atkins’ elbow injury, Christian Kist’s hand injury, Scooty Waites’ dominoes injury and Tony O’Shea’s draughts injury, the physical toll involved in trying to win the Lakeside World Darts Championship has been shown in brutal fashion this week.
Bad luck Martin.
Chuck in great form. Bull finish to go within two legs of victory.

Some amazing performances over the last 24 hours.
James Wilson last night, Robbie Green today, then Stephen Bunting and now Alan Norris.
Chuck ruined his stats slightly missing five darts at a double in that final leg but he eventually nailed double 10 to book his place in the quarter-finals.
Hard luck Glen, he played his part in a fine match but Chuck just had too much.
