Bleeding Radiators

House must have been stinking with the toilet in the corner of the only room. Or is it an outhouse?

Ah balls. Will you relay the full section, or just repair the pierced pipe?

As long as there was nothing too heavy on it. A bit of toilet roll maybe.

Easy likes to be gotten at this drawing lark.

Thanks pal. It’s incredible to think that @Massey’s blocked sewer has earned a “nice post” for me and @Fagan_ODowd.

Thinly veiled “I’ve made the wrong career choice”. Do you have night classes in your area? You could do an art course and then do some book-keeping for local farmers just to keep your hand in.

What’s an “AJ”?

Cue that prick @Julio_Geordio posting a picture of Tony Soprano’s son.

the square thing with the circle in inside of it in the middle of all the roundy pipes.

It will then have a plastic manhole type cover on it that you lift off so you can inspect and enter the drain run.

Jesus Christ.
Between @Rocko and @Bandage, you’d really despair for Irish manhood and indeed the future of the Irish nation.

While I agree to an extent, there has always been an element of society who have no requirement to know these things or get their hands dirty. They will happily pay service type people to carry out such menial tasks.

This will all be fine until the inevitable zombie apocalypse comes along, after which we’ll wear their skin like furs.

It stands for Access Junction. Or, depending on who you ask it could be an Armstrong Junction. It’s used to access the sewer, and best practice is to install one everywhere 2 (or more) pipes meet or where you have a severe bend.

Bends cause the flow of water to slow down. A reduction in velocity results in solids “dropping out”. This, in turn, leads to blockages. Hence the need for an AJ (and a set of rods).

Is that in case you’ve been watching reruns of gillian mckeith?

Every man should know a little about DIY… in fairness to Rocko, he gave it a shot at least at the weekend. You live and learn.

I didn’t say they shouldn’t, Imjust said its not uncommon that fellas don’t. They survive just fine. The townie cunts.

The likes of @Bandage would rather give dyno rod or some of these other crowds a few hundred yo yo’s than get his hands dirty
