Bute won’t last much longer by the looks of it.

Froch in 5 and quite easily too.

Brilliant win from Froch!

Great win for Froch but Bute was massively overrated going by that display. A counter-puncher who couldn’t slip shots or counter-punch.

Ref could have got Bute killed at the end.

Yeah it was a big step up for him. Strange that the bookies got it so wrong.

Froch was seriously outclassed against Ward and Bute was supposed to be a good technician. Bute was a punching bag tonight though.

Something strange about that, Bute looked like he couldn’t move his feet, is he just like that in general? His legs were like they had blocks attached to them from the second round on. Bute is some ape though, he took unreal punishment and was actually getting up to get pounded again. Froch is an exciting fighter when he gets into a ring with another scrapper, he does lack in his technical skills however.

Frochs promotor/manager is a painful cunt.

All those guys that got involved in the Super 6 seems to have all come on leaps and bounds and created a serious gap to everyone else.
Something to keep in mind in that division in coming months. Anyone trying to break into that level should be watched closely.

Got caught early and his legs were gone I’d say. He looked really bad though. You’d expect a guy with his style to have a crafty defence but he was ridiculously easy to hit, even for a wild brawler like Froch. Nothing against Froch, great performance but he will be hyped beyond all recognition after this. Ward would still take him apart tonight or any other night.

Except for Allan Green

Good division alright. Hopefully Lee beats Chavez Jr and sends him up there as well.

McGuigan

Pac-Bradley 24/7 episode 2 - http://ironforgesiron.com/2012/05/video-247-pacquiao-vs-bradley-episode-1/

Boxer Paul Williams was left paralysed from the waist down by a motorbike accident in Georgia on Sunday, his promoter said today.
The 30-year-old American, a two-time former WBO welterweight champion, was thrown from his bike while riding in a suburb of Atlanta.
His spinal cord was severed, leaving him with no movement in his legs.
Promoter Dan Goossen said: “Unfortunately, the news reported is accurate. We can only hope Paul is able to overcome his biggest fight in regaining his mobility.”
Williams had been scheduled to fight Saul Alvarez in September, but manager George Peterson said the fighter had been told by doctors he was unlikely to walk again.
Peterson told espn.com: "They’re saying he won’t walk again or box again.
"Paul is in denial right now. It’s been that way with him. You tell him he can’t or won’t do something, and he wants to prove you different.
“So whatever the doctors say, he’s not listening. But they say that (walking and boxing) is not going to happen.”
Williams beat Antonio Margarito to claim his first title in 2007, before losing his next fight to Carlos Quintana.
Williams beat Quintana in a rematch before surrendering his title when he moved up to light middleweight, securing the interim WBO crown by defeating Verno Phillips.
The southpaw also fought at middleweight, securing a memorable points victory over future champion Sergio Martinez.

Johnny Tapia RIP.

Tapia lived a fucking crazy life. That Paul Williams thing is very sad. Had finally got a big payday as well. Bleak future in store for him.

Big fight tonight with Pacquiao in action against Bradley. Bradley’s a tough nut but he should suit Manny if Manny’s still the fighter he was. Question marks over him at the moment, tonight will show whether he’s still got it or not.

Apparently Manny pushed back the start time tonight so he could watch his beloved Boston celtics play first. Is it being shown on any channel this side of the world?

It’s on Primetime MAD

What odds Bradley slips a headbutt in somewhere tonight? He’s done it far too often now for it to be happening by accident. Could really upset Manny if he gets cut from one, blood definitely upsets him. There’ll be uproar if that happens.

Short of something like that it’s hard to see Bradley winning, unless Manny is totally gone off the boil. Bradley’s good in every department but not great in any really. Manny has better power and handspeed and is at least as good technically. Bradley probably won’t be stupid enough to do a Hatton on it though so it’ll be interesting to see if Manny has to work to open him up.
