Its andre steve not andrea

Mack brought fuck all but Froch finished him well all the same. They’re having a laugh if they think Ward is coming to Nottingham.

Thats frochs problem now nobody wants to fight him and definitely not in nottingham, ward has no need to leave the US,sky of course think the UK is the centre of the boxing universe

Kessler wants to fight him alright but he wants it in Denmark, says he wants Ward in Denmark too. Like you say, none of these lads are leaving home if they can help it.

I reckon Froch would go to the States for Ward alright, he seems to genuinely want another crack at him. Could make plenty of money knocking out cannon fodder in Nottingham though, and he’d probably just lose to Ward anyway.

Id say if he got another chance at ward he would take it no matter where it was, kessler isnt the fighter he used to be and doesnt like fightin outside denmark

Would you give him any chance with Ward?

Yeah id give him a chance but i think ward is to technical for him and can match him for strenght as well would make a good rematch though

Pacquiao-Marquez IV 24/7 episode one:

A lot better than I expected. Great review of the first three fights.

Heard that interview alright. He was talking about trying a few different thing style wise and doing more conditioning stuff than he did in the kronk. Also mentioned his “girlfriend” is in London, not used to the new title yet.

As much as it’d be great to see Lee and macklin, it’d be disappointing too as unless it’s a stormer of a fight with two great performances it’ll send the loser back to the doldrums.

Floyd doing some self-promotion work here.

Toe-curling stuff

Macklin can probably do better than Lee at the moment. He’s surely angling for another title shot next year after doing pretty well against Sergio. Lee was pummelled by Chavez Jr and that was his only serious fight last year. He needs a win of some description early next year to get back in the mix.

Pretty explosive story breaking in boxing. Respected boxing journalist Thomas Hauser has written an article alleging, among other things, that Floyd Mayweather Jr has had three failed drug tests covered up in the last number of years - http://www.maxboxing.com/news/main-lead/the-ped-mess-part-one

Apparently, word got out during the recent defamation proceedings taken by Manny Pacquiao against Mayweather (ironically due to Mayweather’s repeated claims that Pacquiao was on steroids) that Mayweather had tested positive on three separate occasions for performance enhancing drugs.

Upon Pacquiao’s attorney’s demanding the release of documents, Mayweather rapidly reversed his position and offered the Pacquiao side a surprisingly large offer to settle the case.

This could be a massive story if it gets picked up, it’ll be interesting to see if it does.

Anyone really surprised? I’m not.

Getting back to previous topic, could the change of trainer for Andy Lee be the kick in the arse he needs? He admits himself that he was working within a certain comfort zone with Stewart and that he is now working harder than ever?

Time will tell I suppose.

Thats the stuff for the cunt fuckin wifebeater

Poor old Macho.

http://www.irishexaminer.com/breakingnews/sport/former-world-champ-camacho-shot-in-the-face-575007.html

Former world boxing champion Hector “Macho” Camacho is in hospital after being shot in the face as he sat in a car near the capital of Puerto Rico.

Doctors said he is in a serious condition but is expected to survive.

Another man in the car, whose relationship to 50-year-old Camacho was not immediately known, died when at least one gunman opened fire on their vehicle in Bayamon, near San Juan, according to police.

Camacho was rushed to Centro Medico, the trauma centre in the capital, where he is in a critical but stable condition, Dr Ernesto Torres, the hospital director, told reporters.

The bullet apparently struck him in the jaw but exited his head and lodged in his right shoulder and fractured two vertebrae, Dr Torres said.

The doctor said the boxer, who was dogged by drug and alcohol problems during a career which included some high-profile bouts, could be paralysed.

“Camacho’s condition is extremely delicate,” he told Telenoticias. “His physical condition will help him but we will see.”

No arrests have been made over the shooting, police said.

Camacho’s representative, Steve Tannenbaum, said he was told by friends at the hospital that the boxer survive.

“This guy is a cat with nine lives. He’s been through so much,” he said. “If anybody can pull through it will be him.”

The fighter’s last title bout came against then-welterweight champion Oscar De La Hoya in 1997, a loss by a unanimous decision.

Mr Tannenbaum said he was going to fight two years ago in Denmark until his opponent pulled out and that they were looking at a possible bout in 2013.

“We were talking comeback even though he is 50,” he said. “I felt he was capable of it.”

Camacho was born in Bayamon, one of the cities that make up the San Juan metropolitan area. He won super lightweight, lightweight and junior welterweight world titles in the 1980s.

Camacho has fought other high-profile bouts in his career against Felix Trinidad, Julio Cesar Chavez and Sugar Ray Leonard. He knocked out Leonard in 1997, ending what was the former champion’s final comeback attempt.

Camacho has a career record of 79-5-3, with his most recent fight coming in 2009.

Drug, alcohol and other problems have beset Camacho since the prime of his boxing career. In 2007, he was sentenced to seven years in prison for the burglary of a computer store in Mississippi. While arresting him on the burglary charge in January 2005, police also found the drug ecstasy.

A judge eventually suspended all but one year of the sentence and gave Camacho probation. He ended up serving two weeks in jail, though, after violating that probation.

His wife twice filed domestic abuse complaints against him, and she filed for divorce several years ago.
