hes well past his prime but id watch him all the same, would be interestin to see how hed get on
If he avoided being taken down and connected, it would be very interesting to watch allright. A few highlight reel ko’s no doubt if he could stay on his feet (although most likely leg kicks would give him other problems to deal with also).
as he said himself hes used to knocking people out with 10oz gloves what would his power be like with those little mitts, but your right if he got taken down that would proably be the end of it,i think if he were to switch and win a couple a fight s you would see a lot more boxers outside of the top 20 crossin over to try chance their arm at it,mayweather once said that MMA was for white boys that couldnt box
If a decent boxer joined mma and was matched with mma strikers initially the odds are they’d do very well. The reality is though if matched with wrestlers or jujitsu specialists with good takedowns it wouldn’t even be a contest. Also if matched with a striker the likes of Thiago Alves it still might not be a contest as the leg kicks (kicks like mules off good muai thai guys) along with the clinch and elbows/knees etc would make it very difficult. I’d love to see a decent boxer in his mid to late 20s make the switch and train all the aspects of mma for at least 18months solid before taking a fight against a low experienced guy and take it from there to see how he’s progress. MMA and Boxing are like chalk and cheese, two completely different sports and I’d love the both of them to watch myself equally. A lot of boxing fans would despise MMA (maybe you would yourself…?) mainly because they see the act of trying to submit someone as rolling around the ground doing nothing and avoiding fighting alltogether. I’d enjoy watching two equally matched jujitsu style guys in a three round fight all on the ground constantly trying subs equally as much as I would two light heavy bangers trying to ko each other. What can be really shitty to watch are wrestlers that basicallly take a guy down, don’t try to finish him and just lie on top for three rounds to eek out a decision, that makes my blood boil allright. Mayweather is a toole, I wouldn’t mind what that cunt says at all.

Toney attempting to talk a bit of smack here… he must be real stuck for cash.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OASHqyT2Gw&feature=player_embedded
hes not wise
Toney is a fucking clown, the Klitchcos would pick him apart and as for the UFC any half decent MMA fighter would submit this cunt in seconds!
being reported that mayweather will fight shane mosley on may the 1st in vegas
Looks like Bernard Dunne is going to announce his retirement from Boxing this evening…No-one can take the fact that he was a World Champion away from him, although probably lacked the power to go to the next level
and a chin
bernard is a wayne mccollough without the chin,im surprised hes retiring, proably doesnt see any point in milking pepoles money with crap meaningless fights which at this stage is about all he would get, should have never left freddie roachs gym back in 2002/3
Did anybody see that Dunne bollox on the Late Late show. He clearly has his head wedged firmly up his own hole.
I have something to say about this. I did not support him. I did not get a “great lift” from him winning a title. How dare he presume to speak for me. The self deluded nonce seems to think everyone was behind him. Bullshit.
I did however get a great lift when the Thai lad battered him senseless. Bish bash bosh.
How do you fancy you’d get on with him? The Thai guy now i’m on about.
<_<
duddy in action in texas at the minute
Awful tack, Duddy would get destroyed if he ever manages to get a title shot. I can never see it happening myself but you never know as with his inflated record and following…money talks, a handy one for any champ out there.
looks poor pavlik would ate him up
Wibbly wobbly legs there after that right hand.
Who’s the Emanuelle in commentary? He’s as dry god bless him, about as much fun as wiping your arse with sandpaper.
