BREXIT thread

They’d respect you more.

But where’s our tail?

Maybe we could swap it for Kilkenny, Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Carlow, Laois?

A no-deal hard Brexit in March. A few weeks of great entertainment. Irish economy takes major punches also, the hardest since the credit crunch. Leo says he won’t enforce the border and becomes a true Fenian martyr. DUP pretend the mess has nothing to do with them. May goes and another referendum is called. There are 3 options on the ballot - probably rejoin the EU/ Norway deal/ no deal. And after that anything can happen.

It’ll still be spun by Mick media it’s the Brits it’s the Brits and paddy will swallow it whole.

Post-March 29 is too late for another referendum.

December general election is the shout.

There was one in December 1918 too so there would be lovely historical echoes.

Border attacks by January 21st, 2019.

The UK media reaction is a bit mad, everyone said pretty much politely said what they were expected to say.

I’d attack a soft border but I wouldn’t chance a hard one

It’s fascinating to watch the psychological denial techniques being employed by the Brexit/Trump loonies.

Puppets of Putin, the lot of them, either wittingly (the evil ones) or unwittingly (the huge majority of stupid ones).

In fairness, you’d have to fall a long way to look that weak opposite Varadkar. Imagine looking like she does now alongside the guy who was tittering on about socks and Notting hill the first time he met her.

Anybody know who said this?

“We must build a kind of United States of Europe. In this way only will hundreds of millions of toilers be able to regain the simple joys and hopes which make life worth living.”

Technical issues delay May’s speech.

Delicious.

You just can’t take this lady seriously — she’s a joke.

Has the three day week been brought back?

She doesnt want to see her ‘country’ split in two. :joy:

This is completely deluded shite.

May’s impression of Thatcher is very unconvincing.
