Are you sure you didn’t claim it was genocide and use a wrong definition of genocide the way you always make things up because you haven’t a clue?

Oh look who’s here, @Sidney’s sidekick who hid other the bed yesterday when he was most needed.
Genocide is a modern term which only came into common usage after WWII. The word genocide means to kill a race or tribe. Here’s the definition according to the UN “any act or acts committed to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group”.
My opinion is the Irish famine in the mid 19th century meets this definition, although I understand the reluctance to apply a modern term retrospectively, and the reluctance of many if not most Irish people today to accuse their neighbor of such an act or acts.
If you want to argue please take it up with myself and others on the It’s warm up north thread.

Your opinion means sod all, which you now seem to accept. The only opinions which matter are those of actual professional historians who have studied the famine in depth, and they disagree with you - which is entirely unsurprising, given that you believe in your own made up, fake history, rather than actual history.

Your claim to authority on historians is interesting, given that it was shown by someone actually knowledgeable on the subject that you were appealing to the wrong historians 
The bottom line is you only care about the use of a word, the millions who starved to death and were forced to emigrate isn’t that much of a concern as they were rural Irish. Pathetic.
