British Loins Tour to Australia 2013 - Official Thread

Get the fuck out of here you stupid cunt.

Paul O’Connell surely booked his ticket to Australia with that performance. Peter O’Mahony has to be in the frame now as well.

Revised Test XV (and first replacements) as of 7/4/13

  1. Halfpenny - Wales (Hogg - Scotland)
  2. Cuthbert - Wales (Ashton - England)
  3. Tuilagi - England (Davies - Wales)
  4. Roberts - Wales (O’Driscoll - Ireland)
  5. North - Wales (Zebo - Munster)
  6. O’Gara - Munster (Wilkinson - England)
  7. Phillips - Wales (Youngs - England)
  8. Faletau - Wales (Wood - England)
  9. Tipuric - Wales (Robshaw - England)
  10. Croft - England (Lydiate - Wales)
  11. Wyn-Jones - Wales (Launchbury - England)
  12. O’Connell - Munster (Parling - England)
  13. Jones - Wales (Cole - England)
  14. Hibbard - Wales (Hartley - England)
  15. Sheridan - England (Jenkins - Wales)

Captain: O’Connell (Munster)

POC books his seat on the plane-wouldn’t be surprised if he captains the cunts now.

Robshaw looked absolutely knackered today. Can’t see Gatland making either Warburton or Robshaw captain when both of them at the moment are probably behind Tipuric in the pecking order for the Number 7 jersey. Have a feeling Robshaw won’t even be selected to tour.

Shades of 1983 about it when the two main candidates for captaincy were both hookers Ciaran Fitzgerald & Peter Wheeler. Wheeler was considered such a strong personality he didn’t even make the squad when Fitzgerald got the captaincy. Fitzgerald played poorly all tour and Colin Deans on form should have started the tests ahead of Fitzgerald.

Have to pick a captain who’s more or less guaranteed to start. On that basis would have felt Alun Wyn Jones was most likely candidate. O’Connell could be in the frame now though.

When is squad being named?

End of the month

POC Lions captain 5/1 get on.

When will I have to endure this incredibly odious shit and how long will this interminable shite go on for? Some pommy cunt started talking to me about it the other day, all enthusiastic like and I had to fake interest. When pommy cunts think we’re on the same team it has to be wrong.

+1

just goes to show how many people take this sport seriously. A fella plays one decent game in 2 years and all the monster supporters are convinced he will be captaining the British lions on their tour this summer. You couldn’t make it up.

If they had any clue or care they’d e content to see him have a summer off and rehab, fucking clowns.

Going on the piss in the southern hemisphere and lining out for the British Lions is the pinnacle of any Irish rugby player’s career

If they play well they might get a medal from the queen

Big dilemma for the organisers now about how to mark today’s events during the tour. I suggest all members of the touring party do without milk for the duration.

And how does this affect Munster Rugby fans?

They can boast about it in the pubs and clubs across the country
