Cars

More comfortable and enjoyable for longer drives really.

I’m on my 2nd hybrid ( insight) v frugal drive properly is the key- and despite heated seats, auto box etc etc still returns 60 + MPG,and I do serious mileage at times, drag ladders and a boot full of shite always onboard,if u drive like a loon mpg suffers

Hybrid - Petrol.

I reckon you might be too tight to go fully electric.

Pure cod of an idea unless you like power for speeding & dangerous overtaking.

I reckon I’m not able to afford electric :ok_hand:

@glasagusban , get something nice , there are very little opportunities to spend money at the moment.

Green zealots plan to ban cars towards the end of this decade so you might as well treat yourself, even if it isnt practical.

Are petrol/plug in hybrids much use? Especially on the bigger cars/engines?

No. They’re mostly a sham.

I’m hearing lots of people with issues on first generation EVs.

Early adoption might be a costly mistake

It’s put me right off pal. I’m seething.

buy a second generation EV?

I think I’ll have to. How do i reconcile that with plate and badge envy in SoCuDu. You’d be cutting your nose off to spite your face - the kudos of a EV at school gate but an old plate or less respected brand.

It’s a conundrum.

jesus fucking christ man, dont drive to school

V12?

No, 3.6. Straight six.
Believe it or not, the original designer/engineer of the V12 lives in bollington near where I work. I met him once. He said that the v12 had a tendency to weep oil from the start, and they could never quite work out why. It was built on a shoestring
