No I have a car chief. But I would imagine that a vat number will suffice for you
All the Northern cars I notice are advertised price āplus VATā. How come we pay no VAT on them mate?
Only on Commerical vehicles & Tractors / Plant is vat applicable up North to Southern customers who are NOT VAT registered.
I have no vat number so if I bought a used Caddy Van up there I would pay 20% vat on top of advertised price.
You might not need to go up north. Looks like you might be able to claim any vat back on a van purchased here
Youll pick up a commercial here for much the same price as north/uk.You will need a vat number or a herd number to tax it or youll be fucked in the ass, santa fe is about 950 private i think, comercial is 333.
Go electric
Lads, anyone thinking of buying a car from the UK i found a website that does a brilliant instant VRT calculation for you. The VRT website their calculator is archaic and time consuming, plus you might not be sure about some of the details you are entering if it is not all displayed on the sellers website. This crowd underneath they have modified it that you just tap in the UK reg and the milage and they will send the calculation result to you. Small downside is they wonāt display the results on the screen but it comes straight into your inbox. There is no fee, unsure what they get out of it besides presumably you will end up on their mailing list. I have ran two checks using both their method of giving them the reg plus i have filled out the long list on VRT calculator and the two cars i checked the results matched.

Edit: Did a calc on a jeep there and they flashed the VRT up on the screen, didnāt have to look in inbox.

New Battery or take existing one out & get it on a charger.
Simples.
Was the female count involved?
Check your insurance policy, you might be entitled to a free call out by AA or the likes and they will sort it.
A battery is only about 80 or 90 quid if you know how to change it yourself cheap lesson
Charging it is a lot cheaper Iād imagine oral, Iāll rip it out and bring it to A local black thumb
Jaysus theres some right usless cunts on here,my battery is dead should i scrap the car?Ill ring the AA theyāll be able to open the bonnet for me and charge me 100 notes for it.
Iām in agreement with that, my battery is dead, what can I do??
Iāll ask the lads on TFK. You should have to resit your test for shit like that.
You can buy a nice handy little home charger. Had to do this to the wifeās car this weekend. Five minute job to take the battery out. 4-5 hours to charge it up. Doddle.
