Townies just shouldnât be allowed drive
Some soft hands on lads around here
Hear,
Fuck up and go back to your cave you troglodyte.
@Locke canât all be out in the fields all day.
Anyone know what the warranties are like that you can take out yourself over here? Say you buy a car without warranty (UK import for example) but you take out a warranty with likes of carprotect.ie (only one i know). Are they any use?
Mostly useless, even reading the fine print on these things can be misleading for the non technical. For example Mapfre warrant against engine oil leaks , however only internal oil leaks are covered. I have no idea what or have I ever seen an internal oil leak but I can tell you for sure the normal external oil leaks are far from covered. They will do everything in their power to get out of paying for the few things that are actually covered also such as not covering a window motor because you were 200 kms late getting your last service.
Agreed.
Buying a used car outside manufactuer Warranty privately means youâre on your own. Buying one off a private dealer means at least you have some comeback legally once there is a written invoice.
Best medium SUV money* can buy @carryharry?
City driving and automatic transmission for Mrs Nwoko.
It looks a pretty level playing field between the Mazda CX5/Kia Sportage/Hyundai Tuscon.
Iâm currently swaying towards Hyundai.

Should have known better than to ask of a Sunday morning.
Bumped for @massey and @Lockeâs cousin who works in the car trade.

Bucket of shite.
Sorry for the late response but happily @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy has covered this perfectly.
If you canât afford the monthly repayments on the Honda, check out a Toyota Rav or indeed the Mazda. Keep it Japanese my Monaghan friend.
Like the saying goes, if you wanna buy dodgy diesel then buy it off an Armagh native. Donât buy it off a stupid Cark cunt for example.
Why so harry
How could you trust a nation of dog eaters to build a decent SUV?
Whats wrong with the Tuscon though.Do you not rate Hyundaiâs or just the tuscon?
I canât comment on the latest model Toucsan because they are not on the market long enough. Previous model gave a fair amount of Gearbox trouble. Clutches soft enough too if any towing involved. Interior tend to be very plastic in finish which means they donât wear or age that well.
Hydundai have come on a tonne from when they first appeared on the market though.
