It was more in jest, Farmer. The show was great, and his character was fantastic, one of the greatest, but for a finish other characters in the show were more fascinating. Don’t tell Art tho, he seems especially angry today.
Whatever your thoughts on him, you can’t deny the influence of the show. It was the first real character heavy show, which showed Hollywood and big names actors the in-depth nature of such shows and the appeal of being able to develop these characters as compared to a movie. For that, we should all salute Tony, the fat fuck.
Oh yeah - I am certainly not denying the influence of the show. I am not a big US drama man, it’s not that I don’t rate them it’s more that I don’t have the discipline to sit and watch 10 series. That said I watched the first series of it and thought it was very good.

No greater tribute could be paid.
I just got a twitch reading that.

I watched this at the weekend. Chrissy’s intervention is one of the funniest things ever created. Tony’s incandescent rage when he hears Chrissy kills the dog, Paulie’s face when Adriana says that Chrissy can’t get it up anymore, Silvio’s description of finding Chrissy with his head in the toilet upon opening up the Bada Bing one morning…
It’s almost a week on and I’m still gutted. Going to watch the whole thing again.

A wonderful scene…
I watched episode 1 + 2 last night. The complete show is on Skydemand or anytime to downlaod presently, if you have sky.

I have the boxsets. Myself and the old man watched the first three episodes on Thursday night in tribute as the mother was away. We emptied about 10 bottles of Shofferhoffer and a large amount of Bushmills (a Protestant whiskey, I know, but he likes it) into the bargain.
