Cheltenham 2012

MDH is interesting one!

Was just about to ask what people thought of SLC. He was certainly very eyecatching the other day the way he finished and is supposed to be held in fierce regard by the Mullins camp.

Nah,
Shadow of the horse he was DC. they have campaigned him smartly. The one time he ran against decent opposition this year he was found wanting.

I was there and thought he was completely out of race finished very well alright, think they were all caught completely unawares by Cooper.

Don’t know if anyone else there was watching he panel preview in the ring beforehand. Some fella (Kieran something?) tipped beneficent and dul ar an ol. There was a big laugh out of he crowd when he tipped Benef

There is nothing in the formbook to justify that hype. No chance in supreme IMHO, just not fast enough and cant have him in the neptune which looks a red hot renewal.

Not sure about SLC going left-handed though.

Plenty of activity in Supreme Novices market tonight. Simonsig into joint fav with Steps to Freedom. Money as well for Galileos Choice, Trifolium, Tetlami and Vulcanite. Seen a couple of places saying Simonsig will be one of the pricewise choices in the morning.

Midnight game and vulcanite put up by tom segal.

Cant have midnight game. He argues that he will improve for better ground but ground at leop over christmas was not too bad and he struggled to beat joxer. His best run came last time out at naas on heavy ground which would have been all against dylan ross.

I can see case for vulcanite but dont see why he should reverse form with tetlami on worse terms.

It’s a right mess now !

Dylan Ross could well be value, but 222 scares me and Meade trains, only thing worse than a Meade trained runner is if Fenway was named to ride

STF runs at dundalk on friday.

:strokechin: :strokechin:

Midnight game is a montjeu, remember what we were adamantly clinging to re that progeny this time last year

That had me confused too mac. I have only ever been on a horse once in my life and that was plenty.

its was a rise FFS

There’s no place for humour in this thread. Cheltenham 2012 is serious business.

You could watch races countless of times and draw different opinions after each one :shakefist:

I was looking at the bumper last night, i am pretty certain macs choice Moscow mannon is a guranteed EW return…standout contender for me, RPR ratings confirm

cant see him placing to be honest. all wins are righthanded. only time he ran on good ground was at galway where he was all out to beat a rag. been on the go too long aswell. just an opinion.
