Cheltenham Day 4 Tips and Discussion

But I suspect @BruidheanChaorthainn will have a good spring / summer too…some of his earlier tips like Akmaam Fundalk went in recently.

Cheltenham 2024 is booked lads

The problem is we’ve too many good lads.

You couldn’t back all the tips. We’d be better off with one good lad :grinning:

Sounds like a clubs excuse for not winning a county final!

@Rocko isnt managing the horses.

Theres 5 lads on this forum picking the horses… @fenwaypark @BruidheanChaorthainn @Mac @Copper_pipe and at @spidey

I know I backed them.

The politics of TFK Sports and Equine matters makes me sick to my teeth.

Off the top of my head, these all backed up the DFR form

  • El Fab
  • Gallopin
  • Dream To Share
  • Lossie / Gala Marceau
  • Honeysuckle
  • Stateman

Gaelic Warrior, Ballyadam, the goffer

I heard from one of Gordon’s staff they are expecting the real whacker to be demoted over the whip.

Some other predictions for the rest of the season. Remember Aintree is a week later this year too.

Minella Indo will win again in a lower graded race with Rachael back up.

If Galopin goes to Punchestown he’ll get turned over. That was a savage effort today and even though he’s only 7 it’s hard to see him hitting those heights again.

A Plus Tard will win in either Aintree or Punchestown.

If they can find a race for Princess Zoe over 2 and a half on ground that isn’t bounding fast she’ll win.

John McConnell will win at least 1 race in Aintree.

Hermes Allen will rebound and win in Aintree.

If he goes, Home By The Lee wins the 3m hurdle in Aintree.

Banbridge wins wherever he goes next. Would live to see him take on Mighty Potter in Fairyhouse. If that’s where they both line up then he mightn’t win!

Phillip Rothwell wins at least one banks race in Punchestown.

Good Time Johnny had a grand gallop around at DRF too

He’s a machine, but I do think he’s racing style will leave him vulnerable on days when he’s not bang on. In Dublin and again today you’d wouldn’t have been too happy with your money 3 out.

Galopin has the potential to be a great, the way he cruised around the bend and easy as you like took command and put the race to bed after the last reminded me of Best Mate in his pomp

Look at the winning points…it is admittedly hard to go race by race but I would seriously question what half these fuckers know

Il Etait Temps
Mighty Potter
Home By The Lee
Fun Fun Fun
Final Orders

Etc. All depends how you look at it

GDC had Stattler and Fury Road behind him in Leopardstown…they were nowhere.

It isnt unusual at all but DRF form wasnt as relevant as last year, etc.

On another point though I too was impressed by Paul Nicholls’ lot @BruidheanChaorthainn and this is only good for racing.
