Nah that never happened.
As for Dungeons and Dragons, Iāve never played that game but I wouldnāt be averse to playing it some time.
Also. I know more about everything than you do. Iām better than you.

There is no need for the Sarah Leckie ā esque name dropping at the bottom of the post,ā¦
Im not convinced at all by your utopian image of the typical GAA crowd, you have obviously never been at an inter county game in croke in the last 20 years to make such a statement for not been able to see that a pitch invasion is a disaster waiting to happen.
Martin Sludden got a few nudges in the back and no more. Some āassaultā
Martin āthe geniusā Sludden who stayed on the pitch trying to book some fella that was wearing a jeans than getting the hell off it?
Gola Iāve been thinking the same for a while now and I canāt believe the GAA have not considered it.
All it would take is to hire more stewards, make sure that stewards get to the players as quick as they can, get four Gardai to the ref within 10 seconds of the result regardless of contrvoersial decisions, etc.
Instead they are trying to go down a route that has already proved unsuccessful in the past and will meet with the same success in the future.
well according to the logic on here the reason why we have these āinvasionsā is to allow the fans to celebrate with neighbours and friends post the game, your words mate , not mineā¦
do you have any other reason why these Louth fans choose to āinvadeā the pitch?
Thatās exactly where their evidence base would be if they had one. But they donāt have one.
They invaded to get at the referee cause they were outraged at a desicion.
An extremely rare occurance considering so many of these pitch invasions happen every year. They were disgraceful scenes but by no means common place.
I think Mickee only supports invasions where people actually get killed or maimed for life.
+1
in not denying i have supported the takeover of a region by force in the pastā¦
but we can deal about that in another thread.
its important we stay on topic here as im genuinely flabbergasted that people actually are in favour of pitch invasions at a final whistle in an 80k stadium.
At the final whistle, no.
It can be done safely for the presentation if the crowd are informed of a procedure to ensure the safety of players and supporters after the final whistle.
Make the GAA PR wing earn its corn on this. Inform all supporters before the championship even starts that they can enter the pitch after 5 minutes have elapsed since the final whistle. This gives the teams and mentors to congratulate/commiserate with each other without interruption for those few minutes. Then let the people on. If teams want to stick around and celebrate with their supporters, fair enough. If teams want to get out of the way, the 5 minutes gives them a chance to do so.
Reinforce this message throughout the season, hammer it home and implement the procedure from the very beginning of the championship. Do it for every game, get people used to it. Do it properly, keep informing the punters of the procedure and they will get the message. This should also lead to a level of self policing in the crowd. If any muppets try to get on before the alloted time has elapsed, then, hopefully, some of their fellow supporters might put manners on them.
Just saying no and being belligerent about it is asking for trouble.
Tradition is important lads, no matter what some people say about moving with the times and following the example of other sports.
Letting the people onto the pitch to hail their fellow countymen is one that should be protected.
Thatās a well laid out solution Piles. You should Email that to Croke Park Stadium here
http://www.gaa.ie/contact-gaa/
or send it to Communications officer Alan Milton here
alan.milton@gaa.ie
Be interesting to hear what response you get. Be surprised if Milton at least doesnāt get back to ya.
Iām not too pushed about this either way as long as the traditional pyrotechnic display is safeguarded.
I would like to hear Daitti Reganās thoughts on the matter and I would sugest that the GAA do the opposite of what he proposes
get a life you fuckin retard- does it mean that much to you? are you that fuckin childish that you get a thrill running onto a pitch- you are a vile ratfaced simpleton- normally its the gga that are archaic but when they want to move into the modern era in terms of safety & event management we get village idiot types like you up in arms- i detest you you utter utter shithead & its no wonder the GGA is fucked when in a period of declining crowds & playing numbers its followers are worried that they cant act like giddy 6 year olds - fuck that & fuck you piles, you cuntfaced fucktard- fuck you
FOAD
Two equally balanced but very contrasting views from Piles Hussain and NCC.
Iād say the landed gentry are spinning in their graves
Pity you took it east on him though. Next time donāt hold back.
if the landed gentry were still running gaelic games they would not take this insubordination from the peasants
Fucking hell, but you are a strange, strange man!
Heās deranged, sure its become obvious recently that he actually follows the games, and even attends them. What alot of wasted time with all these threads.
For all his āIām so educatedā talk, he doesnāt realise that he looks the biggest tard on the site by a long long way, and he isnāt one bit funny.
I kinda feel sorry for him.
Canāt remember there ever being a major incident on the field after a game, seeing as it involves thousands of people supporting the same team, celebrating the same team.
