Just watched highlights of the Minor game v Limerick there. The full forward for Clare, Shane Meehan, is a cracking footballer. As natural as you like and his pass for the last Clare goal was sublime. Looks about 8 stone though so it could be a few years before he’s brought into the seniors.

He’s only 15 yet, beautifully balanced footballer though. On the hurling panel as well, be interesting to see if and how his club can hold onto the lads they have coming through.

Aaron Shanager supposedly started training again last week. Looks like the Munster championship will come a couple of months too early for him but good to see him make a full recovery and he should be fully up to speed for the beginning of next season.

I’ve only ever been in the Town End in Ennis, can’t remember being up the other end. Went for the covered terrace for the championship game anyways.
