Clare Gaa 🐐 Thread mark II

“Any time over the last few years we’ve played Clare, they absolutely rise it unreal playing Wexford,” he noted.

Pat will probably have Wexford in the home dressing room.

Injuries on Friday evening to Éire Óg duo David Reidy (Calf) and Shane O’Donnell (Hamstring) will result in a reshuffled Clare line-up for Sunday’s National Hurling League Round 2 showdown against Wexford in Cusack Park, Ennis at 12.45pm.

As of yet, it’s uncertain whether the pair can be replaced in the 26 man squad so the following is the originally selected panel. Updated team to be confirmed on Sunday through social media.

There will be five changes to the team that faced Antrim last Sunday. Rory Hayes, Liam Corry and David Fitzgerald make their first starts of 2021 while training injuries to Reidy and O’Donnell will mean two more alterations for Sunday’s first home tie.

TK’s injury might be a bit of a boon for Aidan McCarthy, he’s better off around midfield/11 I think. Paidi Fitz doing well on winning ruck ball

Good first half display, really solid defensively. Daniel Walsh took his goal smartly, but they should really have had another straight after. A few soft wides in the middle of it too but all in all very pleasing.

Spillane doing some spoofing

He’s talking about lads not playing half the time, then he’s decided what he’s going to say irrelevant of what happens to the play

He’s developed a real soft spot for the Clare team , without really knowing anything about them. I think it started around the Clare Mayo championship match a few years back. Talking up lads then that aren’t exactly flying today
