Clare Gaa 🐐 Thread mark II

Yeah, Meelick circling the drain and the big beneficiaries of the merger you would think alright.

They’ll hardly revive the Ardnacrusha name, or would that be impinging on Clonlara parish?

It borders it and technically is Parteen but there are grey areas, mainly depending on where lads went to primary school and started hurling with

Two grand fields between them as well, St Nicks a bit more modern but they should be able to sustain plenty of teams facility-wise

What will they be called?

Assume something creative like Parteen/Meelick or vice versa

As long as its not Limerick Oblast or some such…

They have a nice pick of Corbally too so future should be bright for the club. If they had any sense they’d keep pursuing that area, apparently a good few young fellas from Corbally play for Parteen instead of travelling over to Nap or St Pats

Jaysus Vice Versa is an unusual name for a GAA club. Maybe St. Vice Versa

They have serious potential but it would be 10+ years before realising it. All about the work they can put in now while the iron is hot

The principle in Scoil Ide makes sure all parties are directed towards Parteen and away from St Pats and Na Piarsaigh

principal invested in the clubs interest this year?

They should call it Moyross CLG as both villages touch off it

Longpavement CLG

Tomás O’Bhrádaigh’s would be a lovely nod to their most famous son
