King Henry of Galway (Part 1) šŸ‘‘

I agree with harry here. Heā€™s a makeshift CB and doesnā€™t mark. Like Mark Foley with limerick back in the day, clear the world of loose ball, but his marker would score 4 or 5 points.

Whatā€™s that got to do with it? The sense of entitlement that the Galway crowd discover every half decade or so is amusing.

I think thereā€™s only one obvious replacement.

Yup - thereā€™s a common denominator there alright. Fucking pity really, as weā€™ve got some fantastic hurlers and I like the approach Cunningham was taking.

ye are no better than us. When push came to shove ye shat yourselves this year.

Nobody shits themselves like Limerick pal

Ye are the ones making the bold statements.

Tony would never land the sikorsky with the high winds around Pearse Stadium.

Saying Galway would beat Limerick is hardly a bold statement buddy

And everyone else. Just like ye have dominated for the last 27 years.

What bold statements? Galway beat Dublin, Cork, and Tipp this year in the championship. Who did Linerick beat?

They get it every year laz.

We beat ourselves  Ye had a good chance this year, but you are back in the pack again now. No manager, a few players past it. Waterford a year older and smarter, Clare will surely win a game one of these years and go on a run, Tipp will be around. I just think itā€™s a tad optimistic for ye to think ye will beat all comers next year.

Onwards and upwards. Thanks AC, a gentleman but by no means a hurling genius.

Fresh start, new man in, roll on 2016.

Thanks to the Galway and limerick posters on here, that was entertaining reading.
Cheered me up no end.

Cunningham comes out badly with that ridiculous statement trying to big himself up saying the county board were behind him. If your players donā€™t want you just exit quietly stage left.

If I was culling Collins Iā€™d do it because of his love of the media, e.g. the bit about Damien Lawlorā€™s book, the bizarre post All-Ireland interview, but I certainly donā€™t think heā€™s gone as a hurler. I think his performance when he came on in the final would make you question why he wasnā€™t picked earlier and especially why he was left on the bench for the semi when Callanan was tearing the defence apart.

I agree on Smith. Hard to make up my mind on Tannion. Iā€™d probably leave him and Donnellan be for now.

It was an all-out feud.

Truly amazing how based on clares all ireland win teams tbink theres nothing between about 8 counties. We jumped up to tipp and kks level last year, the rest are miles off. The hurling in the dublin limerick game was junior standard compared to galway v tipp or the all ireland, clare, wexford, no hopers. Waterford no forwards for croker. But cork were favourites to beat us this year when we could have beaten them 30 with all the wides, some crowds delusions of adequacy is highly entertaining.
