reckon ballymun and ballyboden are a good eachway bets at them prices…both should defo be in last 8 as they are playing much weaker teams in next round…vincents aren’t going well at all…plunketts still have problems in defence…Crokes could still be tired after last year’s exertions…[/quote]

Do you have anything on the hurling Scum?

No i was checking alright…i think they wait for the group stages to end first i think…not sure…boden are nailed on for that…unless crokes catch them on a bad day…

Id say the lad you are talking about is Mike McKenna. He is about 26/27. He played championship for Limerick Vs Cork a few years ago. It was the day Corcoran made his comeback and scored a point from his knees. Think he went travelling after that. Good hurler.

Ya, you could be right with that. Is he still hurling for them? He was well able to take a score and did fairly well in the years he played for Limerick. I saw him hurling for the Limerick intermediates a couple of years ago, he wasn’t great that day.

I know he is back home alright and hurling as well. He has had red helmet for years, though I havent seen Doon hurl this year yet

Good man sledge

Doon beat Kilmallock by 2pts tonight

I’m very surprised by that.

Were you at it Balbec? Who stood out on either side? Have you the score?

Jaysus that’s a fairly big shock isn’t it?

No, just picked the result off a site I occasionally visit. Bit of a shock alright but maybe not in another way.

Is that Killmallock gone? They are some under achievers considering they dominate underage in Limerick.

This win will prob go to the Doon lads heads and they’ll get beat in the next round.

A nicer bunch of young ladies you wont meet!!

My dislike would be aimed more at the older administration types that they seem to breed out there.
Young people are same as anywhere else, mostly sound.

The Cork Senior Football final will be between St. Finbarrs and Clonakilty.
Clon beat Bishopstown as expected, but the Barrs caused a huge shock in beating a star studded Carbery side, who started with 15 players involved with some Cork team in last 2 years. The Barrs have gone from Senior, down to Intermediate and back up to go straight into final, a serious achievement with virtually a new team.

game was noteable for Canty and Shields bateing the tar out of each other. Great to see these guys put their clubs so high in importance even though they are involved with Cork together.

Pity the hurlers aren’t the same.

Was Curran playing for the Barr’s?

No, don’t think they really want/need him. He’s a bit of a plug and a bit untrustworthy when it comes to football.

Heard the other day there was a scrap outside a Cork night club involving Aisake, Gardiner and some Sars hurlers after they played in championship a few weeks ago. It was to do with this “Scabs” thing and the Cork players are not happy with these guys at all. I saw it first hand on saturday when a Glanmire player (sister club of Sars) abused the shit out of his team mate, Ray Ryan, on the pitch. This was with 1 minute to go in a match they were winning by 6 points.

What a bunch of total and utter fucking idiots the Cork senior hurlers really are, and those who still hold retarded grudges.

Laois Senior Hurling Championship Quarter Finals Draws

Camross v Ballinakill

Clough Ballacolla v St Fintans Mountrath

Portlaoise v The Harps

Rathdowney Errill v Castletown

Senior Relegation Play-off

Ballyfin Gaels v St Lazerians Abbeyleix

Tinnahinch v Kilcotton

Castletown upset the odds yessterday by beating Portlaoise to oust last years IH Champions Colt who looked like they had done enough to go through.

Rathdowney Errill, last years Champions pulled it out of the bag against The Harps to top their group and will be hard bet.

:clap:Any word on any retirements Kev? No chance of Sean Og disappearing?

Wasn’t this kind of expected once the Club Cships took off though Kev? The bad blood there must be unreal altogether.
