Was at the Toome game, they looked good but Killenaule just rolled over.
Port were at nothing, Upperchurch no great shakes apart from Pat Short.
Good wins for Thurles and Borris aswell.
Monaleen going well in the Intermediate hurling, I think. Haven’t really been following it. St Liberties are still in it so they might get a chance to throw away yet another final. Ballybrown are still in the mix as well and are always dangerous.
St Pats and Galbally are the two favourites in the Intermediate football. You would have to fancy Pats to win it out though.
Bruff, Oola Mungret and Na Piarsaigh are also qualified. Na Piarsaigh would be only ones out of those I would expect to challenege the other two, possibly Mungret if they are on song.

We played Liberties Saturday evening and they were fairly shite, wouldn’t have thought that Dromin would be a much better side
Croom are a seriously under achiveing club, both in football and hurling. The football plays 2nd fiddle every year while they concentrate on the hurling, yet they never deliver anything in it.
Nope. I wouldn’t be gettin too excited if I were the Link. Only the league and Inistiogue would be flaky enough historically when stuck into. Great when they’re let hurl, but tight, tense games wouldn’t be a fort.
In clare, Smith O’Briens V Kilmaley match was a poor enough game…Kilmaley won by 7 but should have hockeyed O Briens really. They must have hit around 20 wides. Conor Clancy seemed to be the best forward on display, catching a load of high ball.
Tones won well against Clarecastle as did Inamona against the Mills. Inamona have a good goalie, some great backs like Glynn, O’Looney and Hegarty and some good scoring forwards in Tierney and Artur.
I think only three teams can win it now. Newmarket, Cratloe or Kilmayley. Clonlara might threaten something but they are not going well this year. I dunno will Kilmayley have the forwards to actually win it but they are a fierce physical side. Probably Newmarket so.
Danesfort scored all thier frees,Richie would want to have been on good form to hit 17 points from play to win this for Fort,we wont be getting too carried away with the result mainly because Danesfort werent killing themselves,id be optimistic for our chances because we have been going well all Year and seem to be improving a little all the time.Id be hopeful eneogh about the championship ahead, this “historically flaky eneogh when stuck into” theory is typical of the mindset that has Callan in the shit position they are in now as a club,id rather have hurlers than sledgers any day.The 2009 Rower/Inistioge team is as tough as any in the intermediate grade and will be hardbet, thats a fact.
