Heard that Ballinderry and yourman Conway got a heafty ban last night over James Kielt getting his jaw broke…
Eoin Brislane got six months for his thuggery in the Toomevara V Nenagh match as well…no harm for the cunt
One thing i’ve noticed about the recession and the GAA, the crowds at local matches have gone through the roof. I’ve been to a good few in the last two weeks and the crowds are great in general.
We lost this game on Saturday on a scoreline of 1-06 to 0-07,there was nothing in it for most of the match,we didnt take a few half goal chances that came our way in the 2nd half, the little chaps have a great future in the club however,we’d be confident that we can win an under age title with this talent.
Did the U/14’s win?
Well, how are things fixed in the other counties as regards the club championship? Limerick, being one of the preeminent dual counties, are obvioulsy struggling to find time to get games played in either code but there is sime club action this weekend.
The 2nd round of the 5 round Limerick senior football championship gets under way tonight. There was strong pressure put on the county board by the county management team to get the games postponed but in fairness to the county board they stood firm and there is pretty much a full round of games:
Grp 1
Drom V St Senans
Monaleen V Hospital
Abbeyfeale V Ballylanders
Grp 2
Adare V Claughan
St Kierans V Ballysteen
Pallasgreen V Newcastle West
Teams in bold are who I’d expect to win.

Abbeyfeale were flying before the break and provided they kept that going they should be good enough to beat Ballylanders.
Pallasgreen V NCW is a tough one to call. It all depends on how training is going in Pallas, as they often been known for poor preparation yet still being able to produce big performances on the day. I saw NCW beat Claughan in the first round and I wasn’t overly impressed with them but I still think if they are on their game they will be too good for pallas.
Ballysteen had a good win over Adare in the 1st round and have already beaten St Kierans twice this year. They have a very strong back bone through the team and plenty of good players in defence and attack. Granted the championship is a different animal and Kierans are moulding a decent team after a few years in the doldrums I still expect Ballysteen to come through.
Fire up the senior hurling fixtures there Runt if you have them…
Round 2 fixtures for the Limerick Senior Club Championships. My predictions are in bold:
Doon v Na Piarsaigh
Emmets v Claughaun
Croom v Patrickswell
Bruff v Tournafulla*
Granagh/Ballingarry v Knockainey
Kilmallock v Garryspillane
*C’mon Tour to fuck.

I know a few lads from Ardagh and they told me that they expect to have at least 4 or 5 points to spare over Ballysteen if the weather stays dry, they would have far too much natural footballing ability compared to the mucksavages from Askeaton…
Sorry Runt, never saw this. They won alright, with a last minute wonder point. Were missing 8 players (including 2 Cork Dev players) for County semi final and got well bate, had a few 11 year olds playing, a pity they couldn’t get it off, but fixtures are fixtures. Should pick up the football as well, they are even better at that.
Cork is really taking shape this year, but the nature of the fragmention for some clubs is still farcical. There is teams in the semis of all 3 major Football championships, but there is no pattern to the fixtures. We won the first round on 11-12 of april i think, we’re playing next round on 2nd of August, and the next game the following week if we win, crazy, and there are worse than us.
But credit to the board, they are (very slowly) getting there. I think though they just rush some of it. Maybe getting rid of back door and not starting championship until August would be the answer.
Anyway, see below.

And arse bandits too…
We in Tour have a fair poor opinion of them.
See edited.
I already submitted my football predicitions!
Bantry +2
Nemo Rangers +5
Glanmire +3
the Bars +4
Clon +3
Fermoy +2
Eire Og +4
Kildorrery +3
How far off am I with those?
From tonights games:
Drom 1-12 St Senans 1-12
St Kieran 0-7 Ballysteen 0-9
Massive result for senans as a defeat tonight would have left them dealing with a relegation battle but they are now in a great position to challenge for a q/f spot.
Good win for Ballysteen too, which puts them to the top of the group at least until NCW play Claughan on Sunday.

Bantry - Hit and miss, most of theses Premier games end in draws, its a ridiculously competitive comp. I’d favour them alright.
Nemo - Nailed on
Glanmire - Your fucked:D
Barrs - Can’t see them winning by 4, could take replay.
Clon - Dodgy
Fermoy - No
Eire Og - Ciaran Sheehan is away, well dodgy.
Kildorrey - You should win that.
Basically your going to be down.
