WHO KNOWS IT B)
You obviously ain’t been around in a while…
Why? he called the game morre or less as it happened?
Julio knows the score here!!!
2 point Runt is my new name, the point tonight should have been a goal. A mere blip on my record.
You only scored one point tonight…
Yes. I let my team mates down by having a 3 pints on Friday night.
The picture is much clearer in the Limerick Senior Football championship after this weekend, particularly in Group 2.
Adare are now guaranteed to go through on top while Caseys have assured themselves of 2nd placee, the only game of consequence in the last round is the shoot-out between Senans and Ballylanders, with the winner taking the 3rd place spot. A draw would do Ballylanders due to a far superior goal difference to Senans.
Word around the place last night was that there was a big row amongst the Senans players/selectors following their 1-20 to 0-6 drubbing by Fr Caseys. Sometimes a row like that can unite a team so it will be interesting to see how they fair out next Saturday.
Newcastle West are confined to the relegation play off after losing out to table-toppers Adare by a single point.
In Group 1 the only thing set in stone is that Dromcolligher will go straight into the semi finals as group winners. Behind them, Ballysteen now appear to have taken pole position for 2nd spot following a good win over Monaleen. St Pats dragged themselves right back into contention as well by overcoming St Kierans, in fact as it now stands any one of the five teams below Drom could mathematically still qualify for the quarter finals, while some freak results could also lead to anyone of them entering the relegation play off. If matches go to form (rarely do), you would expect Ballysteen to take 2nd and the winners of Pats V Monaleen to take 3rd, with Claughan being sent to meet NCW in the relegation play off.
NCW will be disapointed with that. Weren’t they flying at the start of the year?
Yes. They performed the most intense 30 minute warm-up I have ever seen against us in the West Championship back in March. How very typical of them to be shit come championship time.
This warm up crack is crazy, fellas really don’t have a clue what they are doing sometimes.
Its “WARM-UP”, not intense training.
They were doing press-ups and all 25 of them counting them out together at the top of their voices.
Strength training the day of a game, genius.
Dunph tip for the title in the Intermediate championship (Oola) had another fine at the weekend and are in pole position to go straight into the semi finals.
But he could be facing divided loyalties as his near and dear neighbours Mountcollins are topping the other group.
Mountcollins.
Who did Oola beat at the weekend?
The beat Bruff 3-8 to 1-6, that win put them joint top with Bruff.
They’ve just got to beat bottom team Galtee Gaels in the last match to clinch top spot.
My Galtee Gaels source informs me that they are currently playing “woejus stuff” at the moment, thelad you have the man crush on is particularly struggling
